    Album Review.

Ok, now that my laptop is cool and working again its time to break this album down track by track!

    1. Crazy Night ft R. City

Bang! Rob wasn't hanging around on this album, he went straight in on this cut right here. His flow is crazy, and as he builds up to the chorus the song just gets better. Obviously if you heard it in the club it would add another dimension to it, so I guess we cant fully appreciate it for now. Rock City came big too, so overall this is a very good song - big ups to Lil Ronnie on the production too.

    3.5/5

    2. Exit

Ok, now time to forget about it! Big Dan nailed it when he said ONLY R. Kelly could make a song like this, cuz he was 100% right. When my friends heard this I got 2 texts, 1 saying:

"Exit. Robert has done it again. Classic."

    another saying:

"Track No. 2 keeps playing in my head. The melody, the flow, the delivery, its perfection. Rob is to music (not just RnB) what Usain Bolt is to athletics - there is NO competion!"

    Need I say more??!!

    5/5

    3. Echo

When I first caught this song, I think I listened to it 121 times in the space of a week and that was on my iPod alone. I would hate to think how many times that must have been in total considering I was listening to it for 2 days continuosly on Youtube. Another song that could only come from R. Kelly...lets not underestimate the yodelling like many of these reviewers have, because that is some awesome melodic work from Rob...the pace of this song is great, and I just cant wait for the video. Infinity is a big producer, and credit to Claude Kelly for whatever his input was...a knock out joint!

    5/5

    4. Bangin' The Headboard

This fits perfectly after Echo, and its another song which you can just listen to over and over again. Great lyrics, despite the fact that people are trying to be negative about the title. Love the melody, and adlibs...another smash.

    4.5/5

    5. Go Low

Can we call this 'Old Skool Kellz'? How about New 'Old Skool Kellz'? Well somewhere in between but a big song with big melodies, delivery, and some trademark R. Kelly production. Love his voice on this joint, strong with a slight rasp to it...you can tell he's feelin' it, hence the reason why it made the album.

    Tight.

    4/5

    6. Whole Lotta Kisses

Similar to the above, smooth but probably lacks an overwhelming dynamic edge but still good to go, and if you are about to 'put on' this could give that special someone that look of 'sex in their eyes'?

    R. Kelly RnB.

    4/5

    7. Like I Do

Rob riding a Los Da Mystro beat which people were a bit worried mite have him sounding like The Dream...not even close, this is Rob and I gotta say I love the vulnerability he shows on this song "There's alot of things that I cant do, and mistakes I make alot of...". Not a huge amount of variation on this song, but he definitely does enough to get the thumbs up from me - solid album track.

    4/5

    8. Number One ft Keri Hilson

Fresh, contemporary, and massive lyrics...should have been a bigger hit than it was, but this song will have longeivity with me. You can put this joint on loop and just let it play over and over. This one goes from the club to bedroom, and back again...

    "Gracias Rob!"

    5/5

    9. I Love The DJ

I think this will have to be a grower, and is definitely for the clubs. As we stated before this has that Europop element and it almost sounds like it could be demo for a female. It has potential and we'll have to see how it does on the dance scene, but as dance isnt my thing this would have to be my least favourite song on the album.

    3/5

    10. Supaman High ft OJ Da Juiceman

When I first heard the song I absolutely hated it, but now I can appreciate its fun and it has been getting alot of airplay from me recently. Big Ups to OJ, Gucci Mane and er...Kellz!

    "Yeah what id iz!"

    3.5/5

    11. Be My #2

Right people...watch your Boy V.I.P...When I heard the snippet on Amazon, I thought to myself shoot that is a big song...I was wrong...

    This joint is FUCKING AMAZING!!!

I called it last week, when I heard the full version...If this gets a video, and even an ounce of promotion this will be the biggest song of 2010...its THAT big!!

It starts off with a subtle Michael Jackson 'Off the Wall' vibe, then makes a transition into R. Kelly just 'havin fun', then it switches into an Oliver Cheatham/Detroit Spinners funk smash, and finishes off with R. Kelly on some 'Real Talk'...

This song is officiall too much for words...Jack Splash smashed the production, and Rob absolutely smashed the vocals...

(If Tobias aka 'The R' was still around, as a connoisseur of funk I think he would absolutely love this song too)

    HUMONGOUS JOINT!!!

    5/5

    12. Text Me

I think Im gonna need more time to get into this song, but I can see this being a big joint with the lights down low, TV on minimal volume, chillin' at the crib on a friday night reaching out for that 'booty call'...

    This be cool.

    3.5/5

    13. Religious

I think by the time 'Untitled' has fully sunk in, and the dust has settled this will rise to the top as the best song on the album. Yesterday I listened to '12 Play' (the song, not the album) and then listened to 'Religious' immediately after...

They flowed perfectly, and that in itself is testimony to the magnitude of this song.

    Incredibly massive!

    5/5

    14. Elsewhere

Heartfelt, moving, and real...if you lost your Girl then this would be THAT song...another which will just get better over time, but is still absolutely awesome right now.

    5/5

    15. Pregnant ft Tyrese, Robin Thicke and The Dream

This be my sh!t...Big Dan called it again, this would be all the way live without The Dream's verse so as a result it cant get full marks...but I just love the subject matter, and that Rob is being so straight...on top of that the production is crazy tight...Tyrese and Robin Thicke did a great job of the lyrics Rob wrote for them, and Rob wrote perfect lyrics to fit both of them.

    BIG!!

    4.5/5

    16. Fallin' From The Sky

Ive said I wish everybody got this joint cuz its so tight. The more I listen to it in fact the more I love it...I dont even notice the autotune, but maybe that's because it adds to the dimension and feel of the song...Either way, this is like 'Playas Get Lonely' meets 'Elsewhere' making the perfect combination.

This was a hit from the first moment I heard it.

    5/5

    Overall rating for 'Untitled':

    4R's

A great and diverse re-introduction from R. Kelly...he really humbled himself on this offering, and allowed himself to explore different avenues and credit needs to be given for that...We all know that change is difficult, and change can sometimes be the last thing we want to do...so its takes courage, and bravery to do it so I commend Rob for that and Im immensely proud of what he's achieved on this album.

It may not be TP2, Chocolate Factory, 12-Play, or whatever your favourite R. Kelly album is...but it definitely shows that this man is here to stay, and our Boy is hungry to push the boundaries and shake off the shackles which have been holding him down...

and Im there all the way with him.

If I was to title this album I would call it:

    'R. Kelly - RECRO'

Its like a combination of recreation and evolution, but not quite either of them because he still has that 'Rrrruhh' up in him!

The Single releases would be as follows:

    1. 'Number One' (Done)

    2. 'Echo' and 'Religious' (a video for each, to really get a huge interest in the album)

    3. 'Be My #2' (No.1 Billboard and undoubted worldwide smash - this song cannot be denied)

    4. 'Elsewhere' (A power ballad, that will enter hearts around the world)

    5. 'Pregnant' (They need to make an epic video, directed by Hype Williams with Rob acting along with Tyrese, Robin Thicke and The Dream...some crazy cameos, and make the video like 10 minutes long...some mini-movie type thing...That would generate huge attention, whether people like the song or not, which would set up perfectly for Rob to come with 'Zodiac' or whatever his next album is. )

    R. Kelly...

    Untitled...

    We love you!!

Hi, everyone been out of pocket for a while. Been so busy that I almost forgot to go get the cd today. And sales must be going really well because I had to go to three different stores to find it. It was sold out in FYE and Best Buy where I live and I bought the last two copies that Target had.

I was pleasantly surprised when I heard Crazy Night when I got back to the car. I really like it. Like every song except Supaman High. Skipped it so far. But think I am actually liking Untitled better than TP.3. Haven't chosen a favorite yet because I really like Banging the Headboard, Echo, Elsewhere, Religious, and Like I Do. So I will vote later.

Excellent review VIP, but I quoted this because I completely agree with you AND this is the best review for a song ever written.
Unlike a lot of ya, I showed some restraint for Untitled. After work today I went to Fred Meyer and bought a copy, headed to a friends house, and held Release Party. Now my R. Kelly disease begins again... more songs going through my brain.
Oh, and I freakin' love Fallin from the sky. I caught the snippet and was completely blown away by his doubling up and then tripling over his vocals on the second chorus. Then it goes to someplace I don't completely understand yet but love. My first thought was this was going to be on the soundtrack to the next Superman movie. And with Supaman High, I think kells has got superheroes on the brain. Be my No 2 has a batman and robin feel to it.

^^Good lookin' Twan, lovin' the fact that you held a listening Party...that's off the chain!

'Fallin' From The Sky' has got movie soundtrack written all over it, and I never thought of Superman but of course it could work for that...no doubt...huge joint!!

Did you get it on import or just downloaded that particular song?
