    think R. Kelly HipHop Collabs

What type of R.Kelly hip-hop collabo did YOU approve of?

So looking at the recent successful hip-hop collabo's that the R in R-and-B has had, there are basic three styles. Which one did YOU LIKE (or for those of you that are about it...which could you STAND)?

*********R-and-B Vibe w/ some Rapper Thrown In*********
    1. So Sexy Ch. II w/ Twista //// Wonderful w/ Ja and Ashanti

    *********Club Banger w/ Catchy Hook*********
    2. We Thuggin' w/ Fat Joe //// Fiesta w/ The Camel

    *********Silly-ass Artist w/ Infectious Beat**********
    3. Pop that Booty w/ MH //// Gigolo w/ Nick Cannon

Uh... How about none of those? ;)

I like (not love) So Sexy Chapter II, while the original is kinda annoying. Wonderful isn't great as well.
I don't really dig We Thuggin', but love Fiesta Remix. Also I love the Feelin' On Yo Booty Remixes which fit in this category. However, I'm not a huge fan of most of his club collabos.
As for the silly ass artists: I love MH's Clubbin' (love it!), but generally those collabos aren't great either.

My favorite type of collabo is missing:

The serious songs. Dear Ghetto with Boo & Gotti (overall, I said it before and I will say it again, Boo & Gotti were the best collabo partners for R. Kelly, all the songs were dope as shit), Been Around The World or Don't Let Me Die, for example.
Apart from his Boo & Gotti songs which happened around TP-2, Rob's greatest collabo era was during the R. album. Now those were some tight collabos ...

Right I agree. I chose the first one as well as it has the "RandB Vibe w/ a rapper thrown in" i.e. Been Around the World, Dear Ghetto etc. I just didnt want to list every song that sounded like that so I picked the songs that charted the highest.

i pick the first one because Vocally He is able to leave his vocal mark&not lose anything. i like the other ones, just as long as they don't turn gimmicky. but Kells is One of the few acts that can pull off any of those styles&not miss a beat.it's a testamony to his overall depth as a Artist. most acts would be stuck in either 1, 2 or 3 but he has done something remarkable in all 3 areas of those colabs.

I picked type 1. That's what I like most from the 3. But, all in all I'm almost agree with R.Kelly. Serious hiphop collabos I dig, too. Along with those mentioned, I like Did You Ever Think remix, It's Like Everyday.
