I have a similar feeling...The song is good, 3*...nice melody with a catchy hook, but Im not inspired, and cant envisage a change of direction...and Im definitely not expecting any depth if this is the 1st single from the album...

    but I live in hope...

I look forward to the dirty version of this song.

I think he will/should expand on how he's got many styles......... 'of fucking her'

Lyrically comparing getting hair done and sex. I might be wrong.

Kinda like Sex and Food(Sex in Kitchen)...and Sex and the Car.(Ignition)(You remind Me of my Jeep)

    Rob loves Metaphors
    .

My guess is that Kells might remove the overtone...'Zig Zag, Straight Back' and describe how he gets down.

It's classic Kells, a clean radio version, then the dirty version for the streets.

Does anybody see it like I do?

Isn't a song supposed to be going for adds before it's released?? I didn't see it listed as going for adds, so why are they rushing a video shoot??

I was wondering the same thing... you don't usually start the promotion of a new album with the video of a song that's not being played on radios...

I guess this way it'll reach 106 & Park, TRL, and all those morning video shows early to help create a buzz. This way people can vote for it on the countdowns. Its another way to gauge how popular the song is with the people.

Hmm...let me know if you think I'm being too optimistic here..

I can not think many artists well into their 30s and 40s and over get a lot of air time, yeah. Few of them, I mean, legends such as Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Billie Holiday surely do and will get some air time, tho. But, it's not their recent songs. Moreover, some of 'em already passed away and will do. Then, here's Kellz, a 40-something artist and a prolific singersongwriter....There just ain't no way for him to stay active and commercially successful without sacrificing his artistry just to be hip? Couldn't he make hits that transcend age groups? I see a lil hope in Step in the Name of Love and Happy people...just good music for almost everybody. He might not be able to sell every album like crazy and create smash hits, but still can do that every, say, 4 or 5 years...

And one more thing to think about....More and more white-Americans grew and grow up listening to R&B and Hiphop, but still there won't be no place for Kellz to get airplay such white legends as Johnny Cash, Barry Manilow, The Beatles, et.al do?? He'll go down as a legend and he's entered his 40s, so I'm sayin this now. I know the actual number and percentage of them can't compare to those of African-Americans listening to those genres, but the white audience is different from their parents and their grandparents when it comes to their favorite music genres, right? Still, non-black music radio stations would be able to get past this group of listeners in the future, if not now? I know it's about the politics and racism, but as consumer group shows change in their taste, things can change as long as it's a market, even though the whole structure can't?

Oh, forgot to say this. Why white artists well into their 40s and over do get airplay while black aritsts of the same age don't? R&B is considered to be 'younger' genre? Hiphop surely seems to be, but R&B as well, if not to the same degree?
