the song is garbage....he wasted time making a video for garbage....and stans/groupies will say this shit is hot and we will continue to get garbage like this...this sounds like it was made by someone with no talent at all....i don't care if he was just having fun...have fun without making hot steaming garbage...fans need to call this pile of shit what it is..then maybe he will put down the liquor and weed and start making decent music again...cause at this point hes ruining what little time he has left of his career with this shit.....
Psychopaths have a Hidden Content and grossly inflated view of their own Hidden Content and importance, a truly astounding egocentricity and sense of entitlement, and see themselves as the center of the universe, justified in living according to their own rules.

Psychopaths show a stunning lack of concern for the effects their actions have on others, no matter how devastating these might be. They may appear completely forthright about the matter, calmly stating that they have no sense of guilt, are not sorry for the ensuing pain, and that there is no reason now to be concerned.

Many of the characteristics displayed by psychopaths are closely associated with a profound lack of empathy and inability to construct a mental and emotional "facsimile" of another person.

Psychopaths seem to suffer a kind of emotional poverty that limits the range and depth of their feelings. At times they appear to be cold and unemotional while nevertheless being prone to dramatic, shallow, and short-lived displays of feeling.
Obligations and commitments mean nothing to psychopaths.

But here is the crux: Psychopaths don't feel they have psychological or emotional problems, and they see no reason to change their behavior to conform with societal standards they do not agree with.

Kellz is the greatest of all time, but I did not think it was possible to make this bad of a song.

No, everything is all good right now. Let's keep this in perspective, if we consider the year has just started, then only 2 years ago we had the 'Love Letter' era which lasted from at least 2010-13. Then he dropped 'Black Panties' with talk of 7 projects (including the house album) and let's not forget 'It's Your World' and 'Make The World Go Round'. 2 great songs which got zero attention or appreciation.

If we also consider the snippets of the songs he's written for Fantasia and Tyrese, we are not talking about someone who is not putting in the work which most of his fans want. I would encourage those who only want him to stay in that lane, to fully appreciate it when he does rather than take it for granted.

Now, the issue with songs like this is often timing. When you are fiending for some 'Real R. Kelly' or real music in general, and he releases a song of this nature the reaction can be 1 of disbelief/frustration/disappointment/all the above. In 2009 he dropped 'Supaman High'. At that time, the general consensus/feeling of the forum was that it was his worst song ever. Over time it grew on some people, and I think if you listen to it now, or it came on in a club I think you would find that it's nowhere near as bad (or catastrophic) as we initially expressed.

Then we take a song like 'Tear It Up' - when I heard it as a radio rip, I thought it was awful. Combined with the fact that I was hoping for some 'TP-2' type music I was feeling it even less. The truth of the matter though, is that the song is banger. His vocal delivery, the way he bounces over the instrumental, and manipulates the music in general was highly innovative. Remember, this is a man who has made 1000's of songs in his life, so to still be able to create new sounds and effects, and push the envelope at this stage in his career is nothing short of amazing (in my opinion).

Overall, I reiterate we just need to keep this in perspective. This is 1 song, which definitely wont define who he is or who he becomes. It's 1 song in a grand scheme of things. Personally, I wanted the house project but if it's 'Double Up' version 3.0 then so be it. I don't particularly like this type of music, but I have to admit Rob's attempt at it goes hard. If you take a moment to recognise the composition/construction, it is miles away from the standard of the songs of this type out there. I wont champion this song per se, because that would be a futile exercise but let's try to avoid the usual boring statements like "he's too old for this/he needs to get grown/where's the old R. Kelly". We should be wise enough ourselves to realise Rob works in cycles, plus deserves time to do his thing and have his fun.

If you can't do that, then how about picking up the 2013 'Black Panties' album and listen to some songs like 'Legs Shakin', 'Genius', 'Circles', 'All The Way', 'Physical', 'Lights On', 'Right Back' or better yet......

    'Shut Up'?

    (Sorry, I couldn't help that one y'all ).
