Alicia Keys is a horrible singer. She's always has a flat pitch in her voice and it's rather meek.

I think that has to do more with the nature of songs she sings. She's usually trying to be melancholic hence the seeming flatness...

I think she's got fantastic talent and would go well with Rob on a song if they can manage to vibe well...

I actually think she would fit into the theme of the Love Letters album same with Amy Winehouse (if she can manage to stay sober enough to record)

Lol... At least Alicia is better than a Fantasia that screeches.

No, she has a habit of trying to sing songs outside of her range. The result isn't good. She sounds like she's whining.

I admit she's a great songwriter but not a good singer. I can't see her doing a duet with R. because they're not on the same level vocally nor talent wise. Alicia's voice lacks depth and texture. But I hope for a Amy Winehouse duet. That would be ideal. Both Rob and Amy have a soulful, bluesl voice that really touches the soul.

It was when Amy was going through a lot and Rob mentioned that she was one of the artists he would really like to work with, but I am not sure if she ever responded at all.

Spot-on. I totally agree on what you said about Alicia and her voice.
