Of course I listened to the lyrics which is how I came to my conclusion. & I wouldnt say best feat in a long time because his ft on Its Your World is phenominal. this COULDVE been better w/o the unnecessary language.

you know what disappoints me most is that I just wish he stays true to the music & stop tryna keep in tune w/these rappers. this after listening to Jill Scotts Fool's Gold which is a fantastic song right now, easily one of her best. she stayed true to herself brought that neosoul feel back & it works. that's relevance!

I totally agree with this assessment. He didn't need to indulge in all the foul language; I feel like singers who use so much foul language have nothing to say. Jilly Jill is just so ill and I'm not comparing but Rob needs to stay true to his roots. He actually didn't curse much on his songs till Double Up, its not necessary.

BUT, I like the song (and King Los' album too)

You know Citizen K always defends Rob for everything he does, so disregard those comments. I knew you listened to the track...

any of you lurkers wanna chime in ....your thoughts about this song would be greatly appreciated....
Psychopaths have a Hidden Content and grossly inflated view of their own Hidden Content and importance, a truly astounding egocentricity and sense of entitlement, and see themselves as the center of the universe, justified in living according to their own rules.

Psychopaths show a stunning lack of concern for the effects their actions have on others, no matter how devastating these might be. They may appear completely forthright about the matter, calmly stating that they have no sense of guilt, are not sorry for the ensuing pain, and that there is no reason now to be concerned.

Many of the characteristics displayed by psychopaths are closely associated with a profound lack of empathy and inability to construct a mental and emotional "facsimile" of another person.

Psychopaths seem to suffer a kind of emotional poverty that limits the range and depth of their feelings. At times they appear to be cold and unemotional while nevertheless being prone to dramatic, shallow, and short-lived displays of feeling.
Obligations and commitments mean nothing to psychopaths.

But here is the crux: Psychopaths don't feel they have psychological or emotional problems, and they see no reason to change their behavior to conform with societal standards they do not agree with.

It has an excellent vibe to it. I think it's a super beat and would/could be popular. As has been said, it has that Lupe Fiasco feel which would be a good road to go down for Rob.

I do agree slightly though that it's got to much bad language. As has also been said, this is one of the bad things that Double Up did to Rob. I think it's great that he does Hip-Hop too, but he's kind of losing the respect he garnered in the 90s with some of his bad language. It's filtering into his slow jams as well which is pretty depressing.

It's an opinion bro. Nobody asked you to hurt yourself or anything when you gave yours. No need for the drama; we're all here for thing in common: love for the guy. He is definitely not beyond criticism.
