    lol

this is a song you listen to one or two times and keep it moving

    nothing great about this song

hell no ones talking about this song or kid ink's new album

kid ink doesnt make music that keeps your attention like um...Drake

thats why i find all these comments in this thread about kid ink funny

oh yeah BTW i see why members lurk instead of voicing their opinion

cause if its not saying every song Kells makes is great then no one wants to hear it

or they try and throw shade at you in their post

well continue on with the shade directed at me

cause me the consumer....i'm gonna speak my mind

when something is garbage ...cause i refuse to waste my money

no one is gonna pay for something when only 1 or 2 songs on the entire album have replay value..
Psychopaths have a Hidden Content and grossly inflated view of their own Hidden Content and importance, a truly astounding egocentricity and sense of entitlement, and see themselves as the center of the universe, justified in living according to their own rules.

Psychopaths show a stunning lack of concern for the effects their actions have on others, no matter how devastating these might be. They may appear completely forthright about the matter, calmly stating that they have no sense of guilt, are not sorry for the ensuing pain, and that there is no reason now to be concerned.

Many of the characteristics displayed by psychopaths are closely associated with a profound lack of empathy and inability to construct a mental and emotional "facsimile" of another person.

Psychopaths seem to suffer a kind of emotional poverty that limits the range and depth of their feelings. At times they appear to be cold and unemotional while nevertheless being prone to dramatic, shallow, and short-lived displays of feeling.
Obligations and commitments mean nothing to psychopaths.

But here is the crux: Psychopaths don't feel they have psychological or emotional problems, and they see no reason to change their behavior to conform with societal standards they do not agree with.

Come on Chelle, I'm not sure if that was more of a general post but let me be clear.

    1. This song is cool, and as you say the type you give a few listens to. I wasn't saying it was great, but in the same way that people keep it moving with this one, why cant they keep it moving with others ('Happy Birthday' for example ;)).

    2. Let's not give credence to folk who lurk. If you lurk, you're a punk - straight up. There's a difference between just reading posts and not commenting, but if your 'm.o.' ('modus operandi' for those who don't know) is to ignore or down play Rob's good work, and only chime in to be negative and say he's old or whatever, then you need to check and reflect.

    3. Specifically regarding Kid Ink, there isn't a lot of comments in this thread (hence my post) and none of them were saying he's great, just that he has gained some appeal (in the clubs) which is actually true. This is a club song, with an artist who is popular in the clubs - quite simple 'math' really.

    4. If people are going to comment, at least be able to back up what you're saying. Please don't disappear if someone asks you to add a little more substance to your post, I mean it's only fair. Oh and saying Rob is 'too old' to do something is a redundant argument. If you don't know the style of music, can't distinguish between what's good execution, and what's poor, what's lighthearted, and what's serious then it's advised for you (whoever you may be) to take a backseat.

    5. As far as I'm aware, nobody has paid for either this song or 'Happy Bithday' so no reimbursements are required.

    6. On the real though, I can't stress it enough - let's keep things in perspective. 1 song does not, cannot, and will not tarnish a 20+ unprecedented career with an uncountable number of hits, and and an uncountable number to follow. We live in an era where there's no such thing as 'long term', people's thoughts and memories are completely skewed, but Rob is a phenomenon. I am not afraid to criticise him when the time is right, but for 1 fun birthday song? Come on y'all. I mean if people took the same amount of time listening/analysing the complexity of arrangement and delivery of a song like 'It's Your World' as they do critiquing other stuff, then perhaps we could have a discussion of some worth. Otherwise it's just moronic folk spitting proverbial 'hot air'.

Kid Ink stays getting airplay on radio and is doing pretty well so I wouldn't say "no one's talking about him" because people are streaming his songs and playing him on radio. This is a good song and a lot of people agree. Many on Twitter are even saying it's the best song on the album and Kid Ink uploaded the song on his soundcloud page perhaps a hint that it's going to be the single.

I really don't get some of y'all. It's like y'all are so reluctant to enjoy Kellz cause he's not "hot" like he was before or because he's "too old." "No one's talking about him or this song" "He's not hot anymore" blah, blah, fucking blah. So damn negative.

    Exactly. Great post.

I'm confused why all of a sudden he's getting bashed for a playful FREE song he did just for his birthday. I didn't see any talk when he released Write Me Back, an album that was praised left and right by critics and an album where he expanded his sound and producing skills or like you said "It's Your World," an amazing song both vocally and melodically. Hell, there have been snippets of new music on IG and I heard one on Facebook. NONE are like this song or "Happy Birthday" yet no one has posted these snippets or discussed it. It's always when he decides to just have a bit of fun and dabble in today's sound that people start moaning and groaning and wanting to debate. Yet his catalog of undeniable hits and classic R&B is far longer than the "turn up" music. I really don't get it and when you want to UPLIFT his music you get accused of being a "groupie" or a "stan" for not being critical. It's like we have to bash him for being a 48 year old man trying to fit in today's business, lol.
