    Nooooooo!!!
HaHa! Sorry man, but Kells has produced incredible albums for hisself, so why, given the time and efort could he not produce something great w/ another artist.
I understand what I'm readin about BODY KISS, maybe they were rushin to put that record out, I dont know. A couple of tracks sound samey or under par.
On Sparkle's album, a couple of songs are repetitive, but it coulda been an amazing album with a weightier artist....so why not.

Kells could knock an Usher record out the park. He could do a Beyonce record too, he would need to not try and emulate what he feels their sound is, but take em in a new direction...his.

Like all great producers, I believe that R Kelly has what it takes to produce an entire album for Usher, Beyonce, hell damn near anyone.

Yes!!! Thank you. Good points. Kellz can produce for damn near anyone who is willing to let him. Why isnt that possible?? He eats, thinks, and breaths music. Its all up to the other artist and how much they're willing to cooperate.

Robert can write for anybody, listen to the number of artists he imitates.

When he writes a song and he said this about Maxwell he'll write the song especially for you... You see what he did for Aaliyah he will only create music he knows you can sing...

And that song is a straight classic too.

I could see him producing an album with Usher, before I could see him working with Beyonce. Not saying that it's impossible, but we know, hog mouth Jay Z is not gonna have that. What ever Jay Z say, Beyonce will listen to her man.

I think that he could help Usher find more depth. I like Usher but I think he is to into presenting the right image to go deep on his own. But I believe with a push from Kells he might be able to find his way. I have faith in Usher's talent as an artist (although I take exception to anyone calling him the king of R&B as I have been reading as of late) but he is lacking emotional depth and passion. I just don't hear any passion, especially on this last effort which is supposed to be so personal to him. Anyway for me, I would only want Kells as producer and no more collaborations. Same Girl was enough.

As far as Beyonce, there is no way I can be fair to her. Her voice gets on my last nerve and I can only take one or two songs at most. I guess she has talent since so many people like her...I just don't hear it. I really don't know if even Kells could make me like her voice. It just annoys me for some reason.

And of course I would love another classic album with only Kells.

We all know R. Kelly has produced great albums in the past for others, that's not the question. I think what Soulful.stringz was referring to was that right now, R. Kelly is not good enough to repeat something like that. At least there's not enough evidence.
But as far as some of the Body Kiss comments are concerned, I kind of disagree. I would take Body Kiss over TP.3 and Double Up any day. Superstar, What Would You Do, Busted, Showdown Vol. 1, Keep It Flowin', Prize Possession, Take A Ride, maybe add Lucky Charm ... You don't find that many songs of such quality on TP.3 and Double Up. Granted, Body Kiss, I Like and What Would You Do Part 2 are a little disappointing and it would be better without them. But for me that's 3 out of 12 songs (I Want That, though not written by R. Kelly is amazing too). That's an album with 75 % of the songs being high quality music to me. Don't know about y'all.

I think Rob can produce an entire quality album for any artist he wants. I do believe he still has the skills to do it now. For me the problem lies in the other artist. Given the situation in which R&B is nowadays, I'm not so sure there is someone right now worthy of working with R. Kelly in a whole album (apart from legends like Stevie Wonder or MJ, of course). A few tracks with Usher could work, though.

Co-sign here. Beyonce annoys the hell out of me. I don't understand why Kellz likes her.

Usher? Hell yeah. Of course, as some of y'all said, he has to take enough time out as a producer for the album. No juggling between his own work and the project. He can also benefit from Kelly's free (not really free, since it's included in the money he pays for the producer) vocal lesson while recording.

Beyonce....For some reason, I don't know. I feel the comments that she's too Pop-ish, but I really don't think that's a major reason he'd not be a good producer for her album. Beyonce got some church in her, so it's a matter of time and her decision to take it to church and do some R&B album. I don't think it can happen soon becuz she's supposed to be a bouncy woman on stage. "Me Myself & I" is the closest to that, but seriously, you don't think it's gonna be her main thing when she's still young and dance around.
I expect a serious clash between two egos if they are in the same studio writing and recording, tho. She better listen to Kellz I'm sure she wouldn't claim her credit as a songwriter at least.
