I voted "Yes" although my vote is more "it's not needed but would have been nice." I think it would have been a nice groove if a "Write Me Back" song would have been mellow like "Number One Hit" but took it to church in the end. I think it would have been a nice tie in with the CD but the album is so great without it. You have me curious as to why he didn't include a title track.

I voted 'No' but it seems we're split down the middle on this one.

I think title tracks are overrated; they don't always work. Chocolate factory sounded to me like he forced a song to get on album with a title the same as the album.. After a while Love Letter got tiring same with TP2 (my opinion).. I'd rather he does a great album with great tracks and he can call the album what he damn well pleases.

I feel some titles would be difficult to get a good track out of.. If I was to throw my opinion out again I'd say he better not try a 'Black Panties' title track..

Agreed on the part in bold, but not the rest.
An unapologetically desperate, sappy ballad woulda fit right in.
As heavy as or even heavier than Clipped Wings, with a hint of um...rage, even.
You can't make no steppin music with a title like Write Me Back, IMO, esp. when it actually means "Come back to me!"
You can't sound cute singing bout that.
