It's a close one between sex songs and inspirational songs. EVERYONE on this green planet knows R. Kelly sang I Believe I Can Fly and he will be remembered for that alone no doubt. But he also is the king of sex. Everybody body knows the "Sex Me", "Bump and Grind", "Your Body's Calling", and now songs like "Sex in the Kitchen" so I chose sex songs. He's still making them and the old ones aren't going anywhere either.

mirroring the last 2 posts, Kells has done so much musically that some people might bring up his sex jams, then someone else in the same convo might talk about his ispirational joints...and then another cat goes...'dont forget about that Trapped In The Closet either....' and so on. I chose other, cause it's a combo of all his work put together.
i think he will be remembered as the premier artist of the R&B - Hip Hop generation, from the early 90's on. He pioneered and set the bluprint for pretty much all r&b and sinsongy hiphop today....

I went with inspirational ballads. Actually it's THE inspirational balld_ (no "s") called "I Believe I Can Fly". Still the song is one of the first R.Kelly songs for many people who start listening to R.Kelly. They're like, "I didn't know he's got all those sexual tunes in his catalogue!" This is how it goes for people in my homeland. Maybe it's the same in some other countries? I'm wondering.

When it comes to international point of view, he hasn't yet made one more song that matches to the level of popularity, recognition and acclaim that the song claims. But I'm feeling his sexual songs have been reaching farther and further than the US territory and gaining more exposure. I doubt his another "I Believe I Can Fly" will be a overly sexual song, tho. It would be a soulful tune with or without sexual theme, unless it's another typical inspirational song.

I think it would be the sexual songs, because they're more than the spiriual ones.
