I just got through ordering my copy of the signed book. The sales agent said Rob signed and sold about 500 copies of the book. He also advised me they only have about 10 more copies of the signed book.

Psychopaths have a Hidden Content and grossly inflated view of their own Hidden Content and importance, a truly astounding egocentricity and sense of entitlement, and see themselves as the center of the universe, justified in living according to their own rules.

Psychopaths show a stunning lack of concern for the effects their actions have on others, no matter how devastating these might be. They may appear completely forthright about the matter, calmly stating that they have no sense of guilt, are not sorry for the ensuing pain, and that there is no reason now to be concerned.

Many of the characteristics displayed by psychopaths are closely associated with a profound lack of empathy and inability to construct a mental and emotional "facsimile" of another person.

Psychopaths seem to suffer a kind of emotional poverty that limits the range and depth of their feelings. At times they appear to be cold and unemotional while nevertheless being prone to dramatic, shallow, and short-lived displays of feeling.
Obligations and commitments mean nothing to psychopaths.

But here is the crux: Psychopaths don't feel they have psychological or emotional problems, and they see no reason to change their behavior to conform with societal standards they do not agree with.

thumbsup Fans Meet R. Kelly During “Soulacoaster” Book Signing

Picture it, Washington, D.C., the Union Station Barnes and Noble and scores of screaming and chanting R. Kelly fans. Now, you may be wondering what screaming fans, Barnes and Noble and R. Kelly have to do with one another. The chart topping crooner was in town to promote his new book, Soulacoaster: The Diary of Me. The book chronicles his life through words and photographs, while offering rare glimpses into how he became a lyrical genius, as well as his deepest struggles and low points in life. The event was sponsored by Smiley Books and local radio station Magic 102.3, said Director of Promotions and Marketing, Sherice Malachi. Magic 102.3 offered a handful of lucky listeners a pass to skip the line to meet Kelly and have their book signed first.

As one fan, Shanta Monts, walked away from the author, she was breathless, eyes watering and clearly star-struck. She reported she’d been a fan for over 17 years and loves R. Kelly so much; she was even wearing a custom tube dress she had created by a designer in Los Angeles. Kelly disclosed that he liked her dress. Another fan, Kimberly Robinson, a massage therapist from Maryland, said she’s followed him for most of his career. She thinks he’s the greatest talent ever and has become an R & B legend. Monica Bonner was so overwhelmed with emotions from meeting her favorite singer, she could barely contain herself. She was comparable to a young Justin Bieber fan when she constantly explained that, “He touched – my hand” in a tearful, yet enthusiastic voice.

During the scheduled two hour event, fans were allowed to wait in line up to three hours early. Staff at Barnes and Noble accommodated the crowd by providing water and keeping them hyped up by playing classic R. Kelly tracks. As 6 p.m. neared, the crowd went wild and started calling for their favorite singer to appear from the back of the bookstore. When he entered, he was dressed relax in a suit jacket, button down shirt, jeans and sporting a fresh Chicago Bulls cap. He waved at the crowd and took his place. A short time later and he was done. He made sure he took care of every single screaming fan. Before he departed, he left his perch at the signing table and briefly walked out into the crowd and waved so adoring fans could get a closer look and snap candid pictures with their cell phones.
Many felt that he was personable, friendly and approachable. They all had read the book or had either purchased the book for the signing and planned to read it as soon as possible. Additionally, several fans traveled from around the D.C. area and further just to meet Kelly. A group of super fans who drove in from Richmond, Virginia all said it was an unbelievable experience to meet Kelly. Two sisters gave him roses and told him they loved him. He replied, I love you too while shaking their hands and signing their books.

After seeing fans like Thomasina Clark, Fonya Proctor and Tawana Exum overwhelmed and overly excited, I couldn’t resist switching my journalist hat to a fan hat and having my copy of Soulacoaster signed as well. I must admit, it was breathtaking, I was in awe and it was difficult to embrace the overall experience while being a little star-stuck. But as he reached to shake my hand, he said, “Hello, It’s very nice to meet you.” That alone, was music to my ears.

    R. Kelly is a three time Grammy winner with hits like the iconic anthems, “I Believe I Can Fly,” “U Saved Me” and “Sign of a Victory” the official theme song of the 2010 World Cup. He is also recognized for his classic, club and remixed tunes, “Honey Love” and “You’re Body’s Calling.” Recently he released the long awaited retro-soul album, entitled “Write Me Back,” featuring the singles “Feelin Single” and “Share My Love.” Kelly, the author invites everyone to read his new book and hold on while you take a ride on his Soulacoaster.
