    Thanks for the cover Perch!
thanks man, however David Ritz's books on Marvin Gaye divided soul is the truth, his book with Etta James will make you need a drink that was deep, his book with bb king is funny and the Ray Charles book is the kind of book you won't want to put down.

in addition to what i put up there i'd also

his thoughts on his MGM days

Public announcement and there album the real R in R&B

the unreleased album by celebrity his boy band act

his thoughts on Usher and there hyped up coloab

    his lyrics through the years

thoughts on his early days with Mr Lee

    His earlier studio band

Donny Lyles and what he means

obviously thoughts on George Daniels,Regina Daniels and Uncle Henry Love

it is so hard for me to watch step in the name of love and happy people video and know they are

no longer part of the scene in some way.

obviously DJ Wayne Williams a whole chapter about there relationship from the discovery at the picnic till now.

Lana Mcllin(misspelled) his music teacher and 2nd mother deserves her own chapter

Kirk Franklin and the church in general how they treated him

i doubt he will adress Arenelle Simpson OJ's daughter they were cool during the " u remind me of" days and video.

great call Helena on the pose and the book title and the thing that makes him so mysterious in his own way, this book could be years in the making, because like his record making and concepts he has certain things long ago mapped out.

part of me wants to say and think that the love letter album and imagery was mainly done and sealed after he saw the movie "Ray".

Barry wesiss the former ceo of jive now who runs def jam said that R.Kelly has alot of stuff, but how much exactly gets released is a different matter. tyrese put it out there about the many projects he has done at the chocolate factory.

his relationship with tyrese is a good topic and him supporting him as did ja rule and fat joe.

i wonder if he will say anything about John Mcclain the same man wo runs the michael jackson esstate was very instrumental in helping r.kelly maintain work back when his phon stopped ringing in 02, some folks don't know how this business works, but mcclain put in some calls

and John Mcclain use to own a stake in dreamworks(sidenote Mcclain use to own interscope long time ago) which had the Isley Brothers and Js on there. get your cds out And you will see R.Kelly,Ronald isley and John Mcclain all as executiv producers on the Js and the body kiss albums.

that though is on the low, low, however John Mcclain is a bad Brother,he makes things happen.

i wonder how kellz truly felt about waiting almost 10 years before " i look to you" made to Whitney houston's album?

but then again "one more chance" for MJ was sitting around for 5 years before it got released, they did that cut back in 98 or 99 and it was for invincible but got released on the number ones set.

getting the songwriters award from Stevie Wonder i wonder what that meant?

the obvious Aaron Hall and guy comparrisons

Robert Townsend said that kellz and i believe MGM tried out for the 5 heartbeats movie or something to that effect.

trapped in the closet that alone is a whole chapter and how it all came together and what else he has in store.

why he never went to the big screen or went into commercials per se??

didn't license his songs for commercials

thats just a few more that i didn't address before

now i'm done and can't wait for the book

Now that I've seen the cover, it feels like getting into another round of countdown to the very day. So excited!

BTW, the pose reminds me of I Believe I Can Fly video and the whole era. Maybe...it was a conscious decision to strike that pose?
Like, showing people he STILL believes he can fly with this Love Letter album and the whole vibe of it?...Just maybe.
If so, I guess it makes me feel more certain that they made the right choice to pick this particular pic for the cover.
If not, still visually stunning and decent enough to go with such a title.

I just picked up on the pose as well.....powerful!

    Jim Tyree

THE SCOOP: THE BRILLIANT AND multitalented media giant Tavis Smiley, who is also the founder of SmileyBooks publishing, was in town on Tuesday to meet with R&B superstar/songwriter R. Kelly at his suburban home and to work on the manuscript for Kelly’s upcoming debut book on his life titled Soulacoaster: The Diary of Me, due out this fall. Smiley was accompanied here by the book’s co-author David Ritz, who’s best known for writing the autobiographies for music legends Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, just to name a few. Also, Ritz co-wrote my favorite Gaye song, “Sexual Healing.” Yeah, baby!

so the buzz is still going....
