So he might have used outside producers and just wrote the songs... Like take a rappers take to a project it's easier to make good albums if you have outside producers and not stressing yourself to find a sound that might be good for you... I'm pretty sure most of these tracks are probably true but it will definitely change like Good News will most likely be the album close out song. Kells been cranking out R. Kelly productions for over 17 years can he get a break and experience?
As an R.Kelly fan I'm not pleased or excited or even ok with the fact that his brilliant material is being produced by a bunch of people I've never heard of. I just can't do it. Of course I'll buy multiple copies and of course I'll love it....but this news disappointed me. Usually these tracklist are legit or fairly accurate. I remember when Double Up came out it was the same way. Tracklist was legit. So now I just gotta deal with it. I won't hate it by any means, I just want this man to produce his own music.

seems like the last 2 tracks are produced by him... interesting to see that he wont produce more on his own album?????? as long as the tracks are banging i dont care... but at the same time We all grown to love the R with his own production??? not sure if this is a label thing or just him letting other producers grow under him?? we will see

I see it as this, R. Kelly has nothing to prove on the production tip so who cares at this point if he's producing the entire album. Some fresh blood may motivate him. What I like most about this album on first glance, is that these tracks maybe more mature than some of the tracks from the last two albums. That's what I like to see. Supaman is probably going to be on the album because it made some chart waves and folks that like that song may be disappointed if it's not on the album. I think a couple songs may get added too.

Like someone said previously around the time of the 12 Play 4th Quarter Leak... Kells has spoiled his fans and from the looks of this situation and the response his new project is getting from the board for him not producing on the album his new direction is backfiring... yall can't even take into consideration he gave us a free album last summer...

I am kind of behind everyone on this that we all wish R. Kelly had produced the entire album. But also too quoting someone earlier, the man has been churning out music for 17 years. On official releases, Kellz has YET to let me down. This is why hes in the studio and not us. I have the utmost faith in Kellz and I think hes got some magic in him still. I can't even tell you how long i've been waiting for a R. Kelly Maxwell collabo!! Maxwell is the king of neo-soul and his part 1 of BLACKsummersnight has been such an enjoyable listen. So lets let kellz do some backseat action and let others produce a few hits for the man.....

sorry if i ramble a bit....since i read this tracklist last night ive had a bunch of different emotions, yet i remain anxious and excited for this body of work..i have had my reservations, ive gone all over the net looking at info on these producers, some songs are ok, some are great, and there is alot of hip hop beats by these cats. i pray that ths doesnt turn into double up pt 2!! so that aspect of it im a bit nervous, however kellz has been on the grind for the last 2 years workin on this album, and it is the first time in years that he has had the opportunity to travel and to work with others, during the charges he was couped up in chicago, now he must feel like hes got a fresh start in life and is reflecting that in his music, his expectation level on himself is high, so im sure he gt excited to work with these young cats that are workin their asses off to make it and you know damn well they are gonna give kellz their best, and kellz will take them under their wing and give them his best. he has chaance to focus on his writing, and have these cats take some of the heat off of him. i would love wonderful production and great instrumentation and if working with these dudes provides that and helps kellz continue to grow as a artist with the changes that are going on in the music indstry then so be it, hes been through alot recently and has probably been waiting to work with these other talents, i truly beleive that he has been in the studio grindin with these dudes( he was in philly for a long time a while back, in ATL, and some other places), i dont think all these tracks were just sent to him and he laid down vocals, i truly beleive we will here is co-production touches on all the tracks...so far all reprts are that the album is unreal...maybe the peeps here that have some of the inside scoop, give us a lil more info..i hope a few more tracks get added cuz this would be one of his shorter albums(sorry im spoiled) but lets stay positive and mabe we will all be in for a real suprise...
i will say im alittle dissapointed about #1 fan, and supaman highbeing on there, considering we have had those tracks for quite a while, hopefuly #1 changes like the way number one did...all in all lots to e excited about, and i love the name of the tracks, at first i was abit nervous, now im f'in amped up about this!!

sorry for the ramble, just had to get my thoughts out..let this be a classic!

edit: i was pleasantly surpised by the guests on pregnant, sould be classic, maxwells album is incredible, and tyrese and robin thicke could bring a dynamic element to the joint, great to see kellz writing for others!!

Thanx, Clubbhack, for the info, but I'm getting jus a little tempted about this album. I was expecting Kells to produce and arrange his OWN music. But, I hope that this album doesn't go through the same path as Double Up. I'll have NOT heard none of those producers before, but I hope that his new music will be the bomb. I know that it is early, but I will pray that this album is gona be BIIIIIIIIG!!!!!!!!!!
R. Kelly is the KING of all Kings of R&B. PERIOD!!!!

On further consideration of the production tip, I think Rob would have added some R. Kelly to it by co-producing these tracks so I'm not so worried any longer.

Plus he's not been tweeting a lot lately which means he's still locked in the studio perfecting tracks and recording new material...

I just hope the producers have put some strings and a little bit of live instrumentation on there.

We'll see, I'm cautiously confident that his and Whitney's albums would revive the music industry in terms of quality and to some extent sales.

I know it may not be the best example but lets think about how "camel" flew all over the states looking for beats and ended giving us that hip hop classic "The Black Album".... MJ used other producers and writers (especially Rod Temperton and R. Kelly) to churn out some of the best songs ever heard.

I just wish he'd stay out of the clubs and give us some more introspective and soulful stuff.

I don't think this album is gonna be Double Up pt 2. There are only 4 collabos. We know 2 of those are R&B collabos.

As for the production if these guys give Kells something fresh from all the shit that gets put out today I will be happy. Truth be told since about 2005 R. Kelly's production had fallen off from the standard he had set for a decade plus. My opinion is that he had worked himself so hard after the charges and put out so much music that he was in something of a creative rut. Bring on something fresh.

Mind you all our worries and speculation are only justified IF this is the actual tracklist.
