    R. Kelly's rap opera "Trapped In The Closet" will soon join the ranks of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," "Grease" and "The Sound Of Music" when it gets the cinematic sing-along treatment this November.

Chicago's Music Box Theatre announced screenings of the 22-chapter "hip hopera," promising to give the nearly two-hour masterpiece "the full Rocky Horror experience."
Action Pack, the group behind audience participation events like the Alamo Drafthouse's "Grease" sing-along, will handle the interactive parts of "Trapped," which are expected to include on-screen subtitles and plot-related props for the audience to wield.

Music Box General Manager Dave Jennings told RedEye Chicago Kells won't be at the screening like he was in 2008. Four years ago, the star/director/producer/writer himself made an appearance when the theater premiered the most recent nine chapters of the film.
In October, the Independent Film Channel released a clip of the film's 23rd chapter following Kelly's announcement he had filmed 20 more chapters of "Trapped."
Kelly's 22-part song series was originally released between the years of 2005 and 2007; the next 20 chapters will come out the day after Thanksgiving.
The Music Box Theatre will hold two midnight screenings of the "Trapped In The Closet Singalong" Nov. 16 and Nov. 17.

Psychopaths have a Hidden Content and grossly inflated view of their own Hidden Content and importance, a truly astounding egocentricity and sense of entitlement, and see themselves as the center of the universe, justified in living according to their own rules.

Psychopaths show a stunning lack of concern for the effects their actions have on others, no matter how devastating these might be. They may appear completely forthright about the matter, calmly stating that they have no sense of guilt, are not sorry for the ensuing pain, and that there is no reason now to be concerned.

Many of the characteristics displayed by psychopaths are closely associated with a profound lack of empathy and inability to construct a mental and emotional "facsimile" of another person.

Psychopaths seem to suffer a kind of emotional poverty that limits the range and depth of their feelings. At times they appear to be cold and unemotional while nevertheless being prone to dramatic, shallow, and short-lived displays of feeling.
Obligations and commitments mean nothing to psychopaths.

But here is the crux: Psychopaths don't feel they have psychological or emotional problems, and they see no reason to change their behavior to conform with societal standards they do not agree with.

The good news just keeps coming for fans of R. Kelly's cult classic, "Trapped in the Closet."

First it was announced the saga will return from a five-year hiatus on Black Friday (because who needs to shop?). Now -- as if the experience of watching the show itself could get any stranger -- the good folks at Alamo Drafthouse and The Action Pack bring you the "R. Kelly: 'Trapped in the Closet' Sing-Along."

Think "Rocky Horror Picture Show" meets mesmerizingly bizarre "hip hopera." The sing-along has been held as an event at Comic-Con, as well as the Bonnaroo music festival.

The touring show will be held at select U.S. cinemas, and will start with a warm-up dance party to R. Kelly's music videos. The first 22 chapters of "Trapped" will then be screened with subtitles custom-built for audience participation -- which, let's be honest, is pretty much what this show was created for.

    Cities / Dates:
Atlanta, GA: Nov. 30 -- Plaza Theater
Austin, TX: Nov 22 -- Alamo Drafthouse at the Ritz
Austin, TX: Dec 1 -- Alamo Drafthouse Lake Creek
Houston, TX: Nov 29 -- Alamo Drafthouse Mason Park
Kansas City, MO: Nov 20 -- Alamo Drafthouse Mainstreet Cinema
    Los Angeles, CA: Nov 30 & Dec 1 -- Graumann's Chinese Theater

I love it!!!!!!!!! Like I mentioned before. TITC is so unique and no other artist has ever done anything like it. This is a jewel that Rob will always have in his back pocket.
