i wanted to post this also to stop the beef rumors...because some nuts on the net like to create beef where there isnt...one site i lurk at was trying to say that Ron isley and kells have beef just from an expression on ron isleys face when kells was performing....and just because people don't see kells out and about with different celebs they assume he has beef with them....when those who have followed his career knows that kells doesnt hang out with other celebs unless theres something going on like the BET awards...other than that hes gonna be doing his own thing.....

Psychopaths have a Hidden Content and grossly inflated view of their own Hidden Content and importance, a truly astounding egocentricity and sense of entitlement, and see themselves as the center of the universe, justified in living according to their own rules.

Psychopaths show a stunning lack of concern for the effects their actions have on others, no matter how devastating these might be. They may appear completely forthright about the matter, calmly stating that they have no sense of guilt, are not sorry for the ensuing pain, and that there is no reason now to be concerned.

Many of the characteristics displayed by psychopaths are closely associated with a profound lack of empathy and inability to construct a mental and emotional "facsimile" of another person.

Psychopaths seem to suffer a kind of emotional poverty that limits the range and depth of their feelings. At times they appear to be cold and unemotional while nevertheless being prone to dramatic, shallow, and short-lived displays of feeling.
Obligations and commitments mean nothing to psychopaths.

But here is the crux: Psychopaths don't feel they have psychological or emotional problems, and they see no reason to change their behavior to conform with societal standards they do not agree with.

Personally, I enjoyed his performance. I loved the intro with the choir but I felt it dragged on a little. I was like "Damn, are they really going to perform Contagious in it's entirety?!" I think it was a clever way to get everyone curious and on their feet for Kellz. I love when he performed "My Story" and danced a little with the two back-up dancers. I wish he kept that vibe throughout the performance. That was a great opener.

The medley was a bit messy. It felt unrehearsed and I agree with @Steve - I think BET gave Kellz a late notice that he needed to cut his performance short. Cause it honestly felt like a DJ was behind the stage playing the the R. in R&B album cause their was a point when Kellz looked back like "Yea, play the next song" and that made me cringe a little. Like even he didn't know when the next song was going to play because he looked a little confused. There was so many parts when celebs in the audience were in their zone just feelin' the music (Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, etc.) but suddenly stopped because of the weak ass transitions.

And that awkward ending... . Kellz looked a bit upset and said "That's my song, y'all but that's my time, I got to get out of here". That really sealed the deal. Even the audience just looked around like WTF?! and sat back down in their seats. Shame on BET for telling Kellz to cut his performance.

The amazing thing is Kellz songs have such an impact that people were literally praising his performance throughout the award show. Many even demanding that he come back out and wondering why he wasn't a part of the Charlie Wilson tribute. So even though that was lackluster to us - they were praising that performance like it was the best thing they ever seen, lol.

Speaking of the Charlie Wilson tribute, I'm disappointed in BET for not having Kellz a part of it. Instead the asked the culture vulture Justin Timberlake to sing the song R. Kelly wrote for Charlie Wilson. A mess. Then again, Kellz did say "I got to get out of here" so I don't know.

a few things come to mind, the powers that be tell you he is older and only want the hits and the past

they aren't spending money on him unless he writes or produces for somebody else.

he also is in a can't win because he has to give the people what the want and yet he can't veer to far off.

vocally he was cool and the choir was a cool idea, i saw dwyane wade, snoop and nikki getting into it.

bet don't care about no black folks they want to pimp the flavor of thicke and timberlake doing our throats.

i mean charlie wilson don't need no pharell to be on stage with him.

ronald isley was cool with r.kelly however he did look strangely at charlie wilson. now that has a lil history.

to me charlie wilson stole the show however r did ok. he been there and done that he has set that place off.

a banging song or even better an album will shut it down.

this video is so cool and that`s show us that rob is a funny person

to the performance i would say that it was not one of his best. Specially people here from europe expect every time a great performance look`s like he was not happy like soultrain or the last bet performance
and maybe people are bored about the medley

for me it`s nice to see him to do some performance

    huge fan

Just saw the performance and thought he made the best use of the 6 minutes he could. The choir at the start was cool, but I wouldn't have spent so long on Contagious (that's just me). The whole performance was a lot of fun.

I thought the end was a joke, it just wasn't executed 100%. The whole pay off on that song is "I'm fucking you tonight" but he gets there, and just abruptly says "see ya'll!" I kind of chuckled.

Snoop looked high as a kite lazing in the audience. Loved that.

If it had been somebody else, not Kellz with his talent and status, most reviews woulda given it big thumbs-down.
I don't like this medley thing he's been doing, and this is an example of lousy execution.

I don't think he had enough time to plan or rehearse. We don't know what went down behind the scenes, but maybe there were some serious disagreements between the staff and Kellz camp?

Anyway...If I were to interview him about this particular performance, I doubt he'd have a lot to say besides basking in the crowd's reaction.

I agree, the choir bit was too long, considering the entire length of his segment. It wasn't anything special, so I was already getting a bit impatient while all those people walking down the aisle. It's something you'd expect to come before a much longer, grand part of the show, but it didn't turn out to be that way. I suspect maybe there were more parts planned right after the choir thing, but it got called off for whatever reason.

Speaking of the Charlie Wilson tribute, Snoop probably feels the same as we do. Snoop is one of those people who showed him respect through the years. They certainly go back. He put him on his own records like, Snoop's Upside Ya Head, Beautiful, etc. He felt he had to do it, as one of the beneficiaries of G-funk. And they seem to be pretty close, outside of the business as well. It can't be that Snoop is not aware of who was there for his Uncle Charlie.

The songs and his voice made up for the way to short performance! Dunno why he only got 6 minutes or so, very disrespecting to me! Then again he really needs to stop doing the snippets! It's getting boring, he needs to realize that he can't and will never be able to please everybody at a show! And about the Charlie Wilson tribute, well i heard rumors of Kells turning it down
