There also seemed like a disconnect between songs that there usually isn't during his medleys - it seemed like he stood there for a few seconds waiting for the music cue, instead of .

It's almost as if an hour before he went on stage he got a "6 minutes" note from the producers when he was expecting longer and he had to cut bits and remove songs. It seemed to end quite abruptly and without a the usual bang too (no pyro/lighting, etc) and it looked like he was a bit peeved with the "that's my time" bit. I know he had to get to the BET Experience show, but it still seemed anti-climatic.

With that said - I enjoyed it very much, just wish it was longer and more cohesive.
I felt the same way. He did seem a bit rushed. I just wish he'd stop reducing his performances to the greatest hits medleys sometimes. Maybe if he just song two complete songs during performances like these.

I was ticked about Rob not taking part in the Charlie Wilson tribute. I mean, the man gave him his resurrected hits. I felt like it was a slap in the face. How the hell do you have Justin Timberlake up there and no Rob?

was wondering how in the hell Kelly didn't perform during the tribute as well. but then saw he had to get to the BET Experience show so was understanding. & I said last week I hope he didn't the greatest hits thing again. I felt he should've maybe done something from the last 4 albums or something new. EVERYBODY on earth knows what he's done prior to '08, '09. funny he hasn't had a platinum album since. ppl love drama I guess. anyway, Clipped Wings w/a bit @ the piano or Believe That Its So w/the bridge @ the 2 minute mark would've done it too. could've used that 6 minutes much better. but he sounded & looked great w/the outfit despite the jabs

Yeah it just seems to me that he wasn't that into it, like he was just going through the motions. He had this aire about him like, hey ya'll I'm Kellz and I know ya'll gonna scream 4 me no matter what I do. Yes, it's partially true, but my brotha you have to give us your all especially on a stage like this. You would think with all the time he's had to prepare that he wouldn't give us an old recycled BET 25 Anniversary, Soul Train Awards, and his normal concert performance where he pretty much sings the same ol' hits in sequence. It wasn't bad, the intro was refreshing but the hits medley is becoming too predictable. He is R.Kelly, the one and only so even if he did new material or something different people would have been receptive to it because it's coming from him. I honestly had a feeling he was going to do this and go the lazy route. Besides the intro, it was a LAZY performance and I'm disappointed.

justin is a modern day elvis or culture vulture whatever you wanna call his ass...he only associates himself with black folks when he needs them to write or produce for him....charlie wilson was so happy to post a pic of him, justin, snoop and pharrell on his instagram....and if you look at the pic..it looks like justin was annoyed at even standing there posing with them....and i see he couldnt be bothered to post the pic on his instagram...but snoop made sure to post it to his after charlie did....black folks like them just do something to me....they annoy me.....too busy cooning it up to see the real picture...and yes it was total bullshit to see justin up there in the tribute instead of Kells....what did justin do for charlies career?
Psychopaths have a Hidden Content and grossly inflated view of their own Hidden Content and importance, a truly astounding egocentricity and sense of entitlement, and see themselves as the center of the universe, justified in living according to their own rules.

Psychopaths show a stunning lack of concern for the effects their actions have on others, no matter how devastating these might be. They may appear completely forthright about the matter, calmly stating that they have no sense of guilt, are not sorry for the ensuing pain, and that there is no reason now to be concerned.

Many of the characteristics displayed by psychopaths are closely associated with a profound lack of empathy and inability to construct a mental and emotional "facsimile" of another person.

Psychopaths seem to suffer a kind of emotional poverty that limits the range and depth of their feelings. At times they appear to be cold and unemotional while nevertheless being prone to dramatic, shallow, and short-lived displays of feeling.
Obligations and commitments mean nothing to psychopaths.

But here is the crux: Psychopaths don't feel they have psychological or emotional problems, and they see no reason to change their behavior to conform with societal standards they do not agree with.

    whatever

I love R Kelly and have never been let down by his performances......having said that, this was a lack luster performance and he didn't even seem like he wanted to be there and I too am tired of his routine....it seems like he doesn't feel it necessary to make changes to his set.....just my opinion.

Exactly, I don't know why Donnie Lyle or some of his people within his camp are not advising him about this. Then again maybe they are but he may be just stubborn. He needs to wake up though
