It will next year. Love Letter was released passed this year's Grammys deadline.

so the Grammy award show of 2012 should have the Love Letter album up for best R&B album of 2010.

    R. Kelly track was made in Wallingford - Local News from Myrecordjournal.com

WALLINGFORD - There was good news recently for Trod Nossel Studios that the R. Kelly album, "Untitled," partially recorded at the studio, has been nominated for a Grammy Award. The awards will be presented on Feb. 13.
In October 2009, while Kelly, an rhythm and blues artist, was on tour in Connecticut, he stopped in at the George Street studios to record the song "I Love the DJ" for the album, which is up for the Best Contemporary R&B Album Grammy.
The singer-songwriter was named Top R&B Artist in 2001 and won a Grammy in 1998 for Best R&B Male Vocal Performance.
Sunny Kelley - no relation - who was the head engineer during the recording, said she's not surprised the album has been noticed.
"It was a thrill to hear that it was nominated," she said. "It is just a fabulous album, so I'm not surprised at all."
Darlene Cavalier, executive director and CEO of Trod Nossel, who is also a Grammy voter, said she's already looked over the nominees for best album.
"I have to say that his was the best in the group," she said.
This year isn't the first time the studio has assisted in producing a Grammy-nominated album.
"A Tribute to Howlin' Wolf," which was mixed and mastered there and co-produced by the studio's late founder, Doc Cavalier, was nominated for a 1999 Grammy.
That same year, Luther "Guitar Junior" Johnson and the Magic Rockers had their album, "Got to Find the Way," nominated after it was mastered at Trod Nossel.
Other recording studios in Connecticut have worked on Grammy-nominated recordings. Elliot Scheiner, an engineer and producer based in Redding, said he helped engineer Aaron Neville's album, "Nature Boy," in his personal studio, Eyeball. That album was Grammy-nominated in 1998. He also helped engineer John Fogerty's "Premonition" at Presence Recording Studio in Weston, a nominee for Best Rock Album in 1998.
Trod Nossel, which has been around since 1966, operates around the clock. Cavalier said that the first day R. Kelly (short for Robert) and his management team had the studio booked his flight was delayed, making him 12 hours late. Although he was late for his scheduled time that didn't shorten his recording session, as he worked there for three days.
A recording artist who has worked in many studios throughout his career, he found Trod Nossel "cozy," according to Cavalier.
"He likes it here," she said. "We're down to earth. We just make music and we love doing it."
Cavalier described R. Kelly's entrance to the studio as relaxed, as though he were coming home. He ended up staying overnight in his tour bus parked on the property at 10 George St.
Sunny Kelley, who said she was a fan of his from his first recordings, made sure that everything was set to make him comfortable. She said recording artists usually have a list of what foods they would like to eat, but R. Kelly didn't have one sent over.
"He was very unassuming," she said. "When I asked what he'd like he almost seemed surprised, like he didn't expect it."
    R. Kelly said that since he doesn't eat dairy he'd have fish with no butter and a side of vegetables, but the singer was so busy recording that he didn't eat it and told the studio staff that they could.
The Trod Nossel staff said he was a musician with an "amazing work ethic."
Before his show at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, R. Kelly recorded at Trod Nossel in 90-degree heat - the thermostat was set to his preference - then left to perform. Sunny Kelley and Cavalier said he came back to the studio at 3 a.m. with fellow R&B singer Tyrese Gibson to continue work on the song.
"I watched how he worked and his work ethic is pretty incredible," Sunny Kelley said. "That's what sets apart the boys from the men."

Thanks a lot for that. I love when people have love for him. They seemed grateful to have him. And I didn't know he doesn't eat dairy. Lactose intolerant? Learn something new everyday.
