Musically speaking He is Peerless of today. He is a Musical Genius and I have said it before IMO He is the Most Important Black Musical Figure since Michael Jackson. but I ain't feeling the dr.King reference though. no Black Artist is touching that Dr.King reference. Michael Jackson came the closes with his Global Impact and everything, but He can't make that statement either. but everything else Kellz says Musically is true. I mean a Cat is almost 20 years deep and He connects all across the lines and still counts just as much as he did way back when, that speaks volumes.

I dare say he put himself next to Dr. King because of him being persecuted, and hopefully nothing more. Otherwise, it doesn't really make sense to me.

I think its his way of saying he's the greatest in his field. He could have worded it better.. now the media is having a field day it popped up on my Australian IM news window. He never said he's a social revolutianary or anything I dont see the problem, media is taking it out of context. What he meant was Martin Luther King was the greatest social revolutionary, I am the greatest modern R&B singer... what do they both have in common? they are both the greatest in their field. I knew sun-times would swoop low though

Yeah, for me it was very clear what he meant with that comment, too. He's just saying he's the greatest in what he does, which is a fact. Period. I don't see what the big deal is...

The media is such a bitch sometimes. They're always trying to bring him down but you know love is stronger than hate, so don't pay any attention to these losers.

Reading the entire article I thought it was pretty clear that Kellz meant that he was like MLK in that people constantly put him down and he faces struggles that other men would not be able to deal with without breaking down completely. Kellz, like MLK, found ways to turn negatives to positives and help the public in the process. I don't see the big deal either, but I would have chose not to mention it though because he had to know how the media would respond to it. I think his point would have been just as clear if he had left MLK out of it.
