    R. Kelly Suffers Burst Appendix

Singer Misses Super Bowl, Court Hearing

(CBS) MIAMI Singer R. Kelly was unable to see the Super Bowl this weekend because of a serious health problem.

Kelly was in Miami on Sunday for the big game when his appendix ruptured. He was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery and missed the game.

As of Wednesday, Kelly was still hospitalized in good condition.

He will miss a status hearing at the Criminal Courthouse in Chicago in a criminal case against him.

In that case, Kelly is accused in a 14-count indictment of having sex with an underage girl and videotaping it. He is awaiting trial.

    AWWWWWWWWWW he missed the Superbowl!!!!!!

Exactly. Anytime your internal organs rupture, it's serious. Thank God he was able to get to a hospital in time.

I hope he gets well soon. He does need to rest more and quit drinking.

Yeah, it's not so dangerous. Once they remove it, the problem is solved. And the HIV test is never a bad thing. That's what I call looking on the bright side, Mista.

drinking doesnt have anything to do with a appendix going bad, mine was removed when i was 13 and i wasnt drinking. excruciating pain hit my ass.... and all of a sudden i was rushed to the hospital and it was removed. it serves no function just a extra piece hanging on to the end of your intestine. it took me a month to recover. kellz recovery will take a lil longer since his ruptured, cause when the appendix is infected its full of poison that can poison the bloostream once it ruptures. he was probably having warning pains and ignored it. men don't go to Drs like females do.

    R. Kelly's been hospitalized. The singer was admitted to a Miami hospital with appendicitis. His lawyers spoke to the press on Tuesday regarding R's recovery.
"He was admitted on the 4th of February, and he was operated on shortly after admission," Gillespie said to the Chicago Sun Times. "He's recuperating fine."
Psychopaths have a Hidden Content and grossly inflated view of their own Hidden Content and importance, a truly astounding egocentricity and sense of entitlement, and see themselves as the center of the universe, justified in living according to their own rules.

Psychopaths show a stunning lack of concern for the effects their actions have on others, no matter how devastating these might be. They may appear completely forthright about the matter, calmly stating that they have no sense of guilt, are not sorry for the ensuing pain, and that there is no reason now to be concerned.

Many of the characteristics displayed by psychopaths are closely associated with a profound lack of empathy and inability to construct a mental and emotional "facsimile" of another person.

Psychopaths seem to suffer a kind of emotional poverty that limits the range and depth of their feelings. At times they appear to be cold and unemotional while nevertheless being prone to dramatic, shallow, and short-lived displays of feeling.
Obligations and commitments mean nothing to psychopaths.

But here is the crux: Psychopaths don't feel they have psychological or emotional problems, and they see no reason to change their behavior to conform with societal standards they do not agree with.

Thanks for clearing that up. So that must mean he is going to be staying at the hospital a little be longer, right?

A burst appendix is an emergency. Glad he got to the hospital in time. He'll probably be in the hospital a few more days. And he'll probably be bored and can't wait to be released.
