Default R. Kelly concert goers want a refund

that really was Kells...but he was scheduled to host NOT perform...the promoters are the ones misleading the fans.....

Monroe, La (KNOE 8 News)- Fans from across the south bought tickets for the R. Kelly event at the Monroe Civic Center. Flyers called it a birthday extravaganza, but ticket holders expected something else.
"The advertisement online through Ticketmaster said that it was a Ced's All Black Affair and R. Kelly performing live which did not happen last night," says a concert goer that wishes to remain anonymous.

The concert goer gave KNOE reporter Jeremy Pierre footage of the concert that she believes R. Kelly didn't even attend. Instead an impersonator was sent in Kelly's place.

"We was scammed because 10 o'clock we was there, no R. Kelly. 11 o'clock no R. Kelly, 12 o'clock no R. Kelly, 12:45 no R. Kelly. 1 o'clock here comes an impersonator," the concert goer says.

We reached out to the party's promoter, Cedric Johnson and in a response via text message.

Quote "I'm sorry. I got duped," says Johnson.

The text message went on to say that refunds would be given.

After airing this story earlier Sunday, Cedric Johnson contacted KNOE saying the text message sent to our Jeremy Pierre from his phone, did not come from him. It's unclear whether refunds are being given at this time.

Psychopaths have a Hidden Content and grossly inflated view of their own Hidden Content and importance, a truly astounding egocentricity and sense of entitlement, and see themselves as the center of the universe, justified in living according to their own rules.

Psychopaths show a stunning lack of concern for the effects their actions have on others, no matter how devastating these might be. They may appear completely forthright about the matter, calmly stating that they have no sense of guilt, are not sorry for the ensuing pain, and that there is no reason now to be concerned.

Many of the characteristics displayed by psychopaths are closely associated with a profound lack of empathy and inability to construct a mental and emotional "facsimile" of another person.

Psychopaths seem to suffer a kind of emotional poverty that limits the range and depth of their feelings. At times they appear to be cold and unemotional while nevertheless being prone to dramatic, shallow, and short-lived displays of feeling.
Obligations and commitments mean nothing to psychopaths.

But here is the crux: Psychopaths don't feel they have psychological or emotional problems, and they see no reason to change their behavior to conform with societal standards they do not agree with.

Im guessing the concert goers got fooled by Rob turning up as Benjamin, however I knew it wasn't any form of concert when I saw the flyer.

He was there, but this is not the first time something like this happened! Those promoters use his name and saying he will perform, when he's just hosting the party. Promoters fault again, but it happened so many times already! And in the end who gets the blame? Right R. Kelly SMH

Earlier this week, the "R" in R. Kelly apparently stood for "Ruse," as stories began to circle about the singer sending an impersonator in his place at a Louisiana show.

A representative for R. Kelly told Fuse at the time that the person on stage was, in fact, R. Kelly and that the event was billed as an "appearance," not a full concert. Now, Kellz' rep has issued a lengthier account to Fuse of what he says actually happened.

"Contrary to speculation on social media and in some news accounts, R. Kelly did appear at the 'Ced's All Black Affair Birthday Extravaganza' event in Monroe, Louisiana on Saturday, October 26, 2013," says the rep. "This event was put on by local promoter Ced Johnson and was not an R. Kelly concert.
"R. Kelly was only engaged by Mr. Johnson to host/appear at the event for a period of one hour (which he did) and the agreement specified that R. Kellyís appearance was not to be promoted using the words 'Show, Live, Concert Or Performing, Up Close & Personal.'

"As event host, R. Kelly grabbed the microphone and hyped up the crowd for approximately 10 minutes, which included singing snippets of 4-5 songs karaoke style to the music spun by the DJ hired by the promoter.
"R. Kelly regrets any upset experienced by his fans and is currently investigating his legal remedies to the extent anyone may have led attendees to believe the event was to include an R. Kelly concert performance."
