That's only a few opinions....that concert was live and everyone was going off....that could not have been the philly show cause there was no such statement made at the Wachovia Center....Philly was all the way live.

Of course they are only going to reflect negative comments.....most of the comments are basically that people want to hear full songs versus snippets....if he would have sung full songs then they would have complained that he didn't sing this or he didn't hear that.....so whatever you can't please everybody....plus the concert was call Double Up Tour, which most of the songs were going to be fast from that cd.

Altheia, you're right. how many performers do you know , can perform full versions of all their songs? KELLS always say, i got so many hits, i can only give you a little bit of some. my thing is, if you didn't like the show, TAKE YOUR ASS home. why sit through a WACK show? i think they just wanted to be on the radio and be remembered.

oh that female is one ignorant hoodrat. she probably mad cause she used her welfare check to pay for everything. or she was paid to call in and say that mess. and i'll say it again thats a radio station who rides jay-z dick 24/7 notice how she just had to mention jay. maybe R should quit touring the ny/nj area since they hate him so much, why buy tickets if you dislike him so much?
Psychopaths have a Hidden Content and grossly inflated view of their own Hidden Content and importance, a truly astounding egocentricity and sense of entitlement, and see themselves as the center of the universe, justified in living according to their own rules.

Psychopaths show a stunning lack of concern for the effects their actions have on others, no matter how devastating these might be. They may appear completely forthright about the matter, calmly stating that they have no sense of guilt, are not sorry for the ensuing pain, and that there is no reason now to be concerned.

Many of the characteristics displayed by psychopaths are closely associated with a profound lack of empathy and inability to construct a mental and emotional "facsimile" of another person.

Psychopaths seem to suffer a kind of emotional poverty that limits the range and depth of their feelings. At times they appear to be cold and unemotional while nevertheless being prone to dramatic, shallow, and short-lived displays of feeling.
Obligations and commitments mean nothing to psychopaths.

But here is the crux: Psychopaths don't feel they have psychological or emotional problems, and they see no reason to change their behavior to conform with societal standards they do not agree with.

Dumb assed people should not be allowed to speak on the radio.

I don't think they were callers from the general public they could've have been people who work at the station calling in to make negative comments.

Cause one person said I'm glad I didn't pay for the show I won my tickets on the radio. BAM!!! That tells you something right there. It's not easy to win tickets on the radio, you have to keep calling in to win... Now if this person took the time to win the tickets and attend the show. Get in for free and complian about something they didn't even have to pay for??? You know its bullshit.

Since I worked in radio I know the shit those stations pull when they want to drag an artist down.

Philadelphia and Dirty Jersey is where Kells is most popular. They LOVE R. KELLY in Philadelphia. That's a fact that I know first hand.

This station is not the most popular R&B stations in Philly, NY or NJ. 107.5 and 100.3 etc play R. Kelly in regular rotation. I hear stuff from R Kelly on those station before you can hear it anywhere else.

Chelle I don't really believe Kells is hated in NY, like I said it was a few people who didn't want to hear him sing so many fast songs.....ok keeping it real, the Light it Tour was better and didn't have so many fast cuts, but this tour was Double Up so what did they expect....remember when R did Radio City Music hall it was sold out in one day...so I know NY has love for him.

Exactly, Philly showed much love and Kells didn't have to ask us to get into the show cause we were all the way live....trust that. 100.3 The Beat (philly station) did not diss Kells like that at all and I didn't hear any negative comments about the show from them.

Now since they want to bring Jay up....people did call in after Jay Z show in Philly to promote his cd and said the show was wack, he didn't sing a lot from the new cd, and the show wasn't worth the money.

Promoter: R. Kelly show won't be rescheduled

By SAM MCDONALD | 247-4732 11:25 AM EST, January 22, 2008 HAMPTON - After weeks of delay and uncertainty, the promoter for R. Kelly's canceled concert at Hampton Coliseum has said that the R&B star's concert here will not be rescheduled.

A press release issued by the Coliseum Tuesday morning explained that the singer's pending trial will prevent him from making up the date. Kelly is facing child-pornography charges in Chicago.

He was originally set to perform at the Coliseum on Jan. 13.

Those holding tickets can return them to place of purchase for a full refund. Tickets bought online or by phone through Ticketmaster will automatically be refunded to the credit card used for the purchase.

Rowe Entertainment was the promoter for Kelly's Double-Up tour.

"Hampton Coliseum sincerely apologizes for the delay of the cancellation announcement and for any inconvenience this may have caused," the press release stated.

For more information, contact the Coliseum's box office at 838-4203.

ummm...when did Jive tell us fans that a "Light It UP Tour DVD" was going to be released? I've been hoping for a DVD this time, too, but it seems like that's just a wish since we didn't get any info yet and considering the tour is already over.
