I just get the feeling Rob is over the whole video aspect of his projects. I don't have a lot of hope for more than one video from his future projects and definitely no more than 2 official singles. I think he's just focused on his road show. I hope I'm wrong.

I hope so Redemption. I would love to see Kelly getting back to telling a story in his videos though it may be costly to do so. Those VMA's & other award shows are major exposure vehicles. Especially how technology rapidly changes & can introduce or reintroduce you to another market. I'm sure the 2 album options are a business strategy on which direction to go next. Had the Untitled album seen say Exit (or even adding One Day On This Earth being the first single), going that whole pop direction, with a great club video that wouldve done wonders. So hopefully the team learned from the last 3 albums & knocks which ever is Kelly's next album out the park & back on the platinum track. damn I wish I was on the payroll.

I don't blame him. He probably doesn't want to waste his funds on videos because the release of videos are no longer events like they used to be. If he's focused on his road show that's smart because that's where all most of the money comes from. But I think he will focus on videos when the Mr. Biggs saga continues with Ron Isley.

When I saw the tweet I thought she was referring to the Ron Isley/ Kellz album that she's been tight lipped about....

Yeah, see that's the thing, as a fan, you know I definitely want to see a good visual to go with an awesome song but the reality is that Rob has been around 20+ years and the audience that videos are geared toward presently isn't his audience. We don't even have good video shows anymore. 106 and Park is clearly rigged to whomever is spending marketing dollars with BET and besides VH1-Soul and Centric, who really runs a video countdown anymore?

Now, what I could go for, and I think what would turn a good profit for both Rob and Ron is a short film/long video reminiscent of TITC and the Down Low video that will be released with this alleged Ron/Rob song/album. That would be hot and people are checking for that after all of these years.

With all of that said, the days of seeing Rob in multiple videos or even multiple radio singles are likely over . I'm sad about it but I think it's the reality we have to face.

Yeah, right now, making a lot of videos doesn't make much economic sense. Rob is being pushed into that AC realm and how many AC artists you know of have music videos these days?

I just really miss hearing Rob on the radio when his new material is released. I think it's a shame not release some of the gems he has as singles.

Default Comes on back around again!

Remember Trade in my life single! Classic shit.

    Staying on topic now!

Mr. Kelly has done quite well for himself touring over in Africa making millions on self promotional tours, it was his life dream to fulfill and he did that. Ok some of his latest stuff was thrown out there at the time because he wasn't sure how his court case was going to go down so he delighted his fans with horse play music. Some of those hits could've got airplay attention but like his book Soulacoaster will spill out too you how the radio stations blacklisted his music from reaching to new/older fans.

Now Love letter CD is a timeless piece you can play over & over on the holidays during X-mas time. Still he get's the nod as certain R&B contemporary stations are playing his cd in whole. I love radio message, but I just can't stop bumping love letter or number 1 hit.

Like one comment mentioned, its not about videos any longer it is about hitting the sold out arenas and touring around the world reaching out to his fans across the globe. He has done that and ran himself ragged! He opened up for the World Cup soccer Fifa, he did the Keyshia Cole & Marsha thing non-stop now the man needed rest as he works like 50 o'clock still. But back on topic here, his catalog still cannot be touched by the newer and older artist as he writes for Whitney ; Kelly Price, Tyrese his road dogg who stayed by his side during all this drama . His latest music is a signal to let us in on his secret, he is still the musical genius and still continues to out perform many singers today.

Now the latest news speaks of the album title change, Black panties has created such a buzz America cannot wait for the raunchy sexy bedroom music it has missed over the past 5 years or less.

L.A. Reid is with Jive records and you will see the combination of the duo take him to newer mountains like Quincy Jones & Michael Jackson Thriller, R Kelly has it in him and L.A. Reid has been reinvented from walking away from a storm of a nightmare, now you will here the perfect storm and drenched sheets of the bedroom once more as R Kelly will ignite the flames in the beds bringing out Ronald Isley doing it once again.

Videos are a joke unless it's like a movie or short film so be prepared to see Trapped in the closet come out! Grammy or Emmy or even golden globes! Centric has let it be known that their in his corner again and will stop at nothing short to see the Modern day Marvin Gaye do his act.

Tired of hearing Goat Songz in the same phrase, homie 15 minutes of fame is over!

Love letter is at 730,000 copies sold and by the end of the cycle for RAIA he will be at platinum.....

    Not true.

L.A. Reid is in charge of Epic Records, not Jive. There's no longer a Jive label. Jive has dissolved to two groups - Epic and RCA.

Kellz is under RCA and L.A. Reid is with Epic. They have nothing to do with each other.
