Default The R. on tribute albums...!?

We've seen a lot of tribute albums released. Whether an artist is alive or not, for some musical greats, we see many other fellow artists gather up and sing their versions on tribute albums. Have y'all ever felt that it's kinda strange why Kellz has never done that?? It'd be nice to see his name on the list of tribute projects for Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye, and so on. The other day, when I looked at the list of the latest tribute album for Luther, I came to think about this again. Before that, I'd already had some thoughts. You can think of many other whose tribute albums have been released so far.

Any songs do y'all want to hear him sing for the sake of honoring on tribute projects? And whose tribute albums do y'all think R.Kelly should particiate in and help 'em shine?

Yeh, Ive thought about that before Helena, I dont know which party is to blame for that not happening but hopefully it will happen sometime soon. I'd like to see him covering tracks of Stevie W, Sam C & Lenny W, you know, the artists that he grew up with that inspired him.

I feel all of you above. It'd be fresh if he sings You Are Not Alone on Michael Jackson tribute. The tracklist will look strange if his name isn't esp. on The Isley Brothers tribute.
He can write a new song about the artist who get tribute, or produce the whole album or just rearrange or remix his/her song. Also, of course, he can just sing like many fellow artists do on tribute albums. Whatever it might be, hopefully it happens one day.

Another thing that I'd love to see is an entire R. Kelly album with nothing but cover songs. I'd love to hear Kellz sing some of his favorite artists' songs on a cover CD.

that would be so great. We can only wish he does that someday. I think he'd make those artists proud. You see too many artists trying to cover older artists and most of the time, it doesn't sound any good. Kellz would make it sound great.

I often wondered about this very thing as well. If I could choose a cover, I'd like to hear Donny.
