Default R. Kelly working with Polow da Don.

After the songs Kelly and Polow did together is it safe to say that the music that they make together is straight fire?

i wonder what it really entails..r.Kelly as a producer is hot ans the instruments are timeless but wit these new producers the songs are just current and not in depth...

Co-sign Maxxx. It works for the moment but I can't see this being anything long lasting.

i like them doing a few tracks together. Same as I would love to hear Kells on a Timbo, or Danja, or Dre...but ultimately, longterm, those would be lil side projects or experiments, I wanna hear Kells producing Kells, written by Kells, nothin but Kells...that's his classic material.

^Co-sign on that... I would prefer to see Kells making music (with instruments) again and not just beats. Polow does beats. That's not to say some of what they have done together hasn't been good catchy music, just my 2 cents.

    thumbsup Keep, keepin' on...

I like all of the Rob and Polow collaborations! Its good to see Rob have a friend in the industry, who he can make good music with...this isnt instead of making his own stuff, this is ASWELL as!..We all know how prolific Rob is, and working and vibing with Polow is real cool...It cud be a situation whereby Polow could call up Rob and ask him to write something for an artist or do a remix and u know Rob is ready to get up on that.

Did anybody think that Polow mite have told Rob about the Open Labs 'Miko'? Initially when I heard 'Out Of This Club' I thought it was a Polow production but after listening closely, its definitely Rob...but with a twist! Hidden Content ...I kinda get the feeling that he was using new equipment to create some of the sounds, and everybody who talks about Polow always says he advises them to start using the 'Miko'.

So lets break it down with their collabos:

    'Promise Remix' - absolute fire!
'Ringtone' - off the muthafuckin chain...Rob smashed the spittin, Polow tore out the production!
'Best Friend' - Written, Produced & Arranged by Rob...Polow was the perfect foil as the 'other man', his voice was great!
    'No.1 Sex' - Promise Remix...Remixed!! Hidden Content
'Shake It Like A Dog' - Something a little different, an opportunity for them to have some fun.
'UCud GetIt' - "Yo Rob, come jump on this Nelly joint and lace it like only u can"..."AIIGHT B!" Hidden Content
'Out Of This Club' - "Yo Jamal, I done used that Miko like u told me to...u wanna spit some bars?"..."IM THERE PARDNER!" Hidden Content

Yeh maan, these collabos are all good with me! Hidden Content

I have liked them. I don't really care as long as he is enjoying working with other producers and not some label obligation. I always think it is good when people collaborate or try new things. It all adds to your experience and knowledge. When he decides to do another solo project he will and I will love it. I just want him to enjoy himself and his work.

My sentiments exactly. They haven't done anything memorable together, just some catchy trendy stuff.
