think R. Kelly feat. An artist from your country

    Good evening !
I was dreaming about the MV project again and this idea came to my mind: All of the non-american members in here: what artist from your country should work with R. Kelly if there would be a special mv-cd for your country. All the American members can name artists too, if they like some from foreign countries. If you want you can post a link to there website, myspace, youtube, whatever, so we can imagine what this collabo would sound like.
My first pick is Gentleman. He's someone Kells should work with for the German / Carribean project because he's a reggae artist.

well........the hispanic music scene has been tearing up rythmic charts for the past couple of years. he already worked with wisin and yandel in "Burn It Up" on TP3. he has also worked with Fat Joe and J.Lo.

However, there arent many artists that I would probably enjoy working w/ kellz that are from my country/heritage.

if i had to pick some, i would probably pick the guy in the below vid....he writes, sings, produces and plays about 5 instruments:

    ....maybe even this guy....

Wow,,,This is a great topic Mixmaster. In reality, I know there's no chance that he'll hook up with artists from my country cuz he already mentioned a Japanese music project...I don't think he considers one more country in Asia. If he does, he'll pick China easily.

But, I can wish at least here. I'd like to see collabos with artists who play traditional Korean music. The genre is all about rhythms and beats. No melodies. Very dynamic, passionate, freestyle. I myself was in a traditional music band as a drummer. There are great singers in the pop music scene here of course, and they also can make nice works.
Here's a famous musician in that field. He's been internationally known for his rediscovery of Korean traditional music.
He's not in this footage, but this is the kind of music he plays.

Here's one female veteran singer in my country, Lee Eun-mi. She's famous for stickin to live stages for over 10 years, not seeking media attention at all and she's been successful doin it.
    This is her music video.

And one more female singer. Tasha...She's got a Korean name, Yoon Mi-rae, but also got English name, Tasha. People here call her T. Her father is African-American, and her mother is Korean, and that's why. She does both-singin and rapping.

But, I think MV focuses on showing more exotic flavors from different regions around the world. So, traditional music is a more proper choice.

Wow, very interesting kinds of music, especially the one that helena posted ! Makes me really curious about a R. Kelly song with those traditional korean influences might sound.
I knew Farnkie J before from a song with Baby Bash, but I didn't kno that he's a writer and producer too. I like that song you posted, AZ !
daramson, and all the others, don't hesitate to post links to your artists sites !
