like i said above he is just finshing up a deal and this stuff is old material.

ain't no telling how long some of those tracks been in the can.

if there is a Project that catches on then I expect he will get some push, however the brass is taking a long wait and see with him.

the industry is putting money on Trey Songz, Chris Brown and Neyo.

Usher better come up with something stronger or he will be in that Old Man's boat next because they are lining up younger cats and trying to put vets out to pasture.

Kellz got the fact he is a songwriter and producer,etc.. so regardless of his sales or chart performance he is straight and more importantly he can go tour.

but it's obvious the writing is on the wall.

i bet you cash money that if John Legend, NeYo or Usher had a "when a Woman loves" that it would be top 5 on the pop charts now, ain't no more money being pushed his way.

hell no. it would have to have more fancy production with a lot of bass and shit like that.

and even then, the song itself is done in an old school style, so it still wouldn't be top 5.

As long as the we the fans support we own the music business in the end we have the final say who stays and goes we have to put R.Kelly back on top thats our job as true fans.

and sorry, but WAWL will not reach number one. not now, not ever. it isn't a ringtone friendly song, it's got meaning to it and that doesn't fly with radio stations.
It's at #28 on it's 7th week on the chart. It's climbing and I can definitely see this song reaching the top ten on the R&B chart in a couple of weeks.

Realistically, I don't see that happening... Not unless some promo is given to the song and maybe a follow up single too...

I really hope something is done soon cuz we're entering the winter period and it sounds it'll be good for that season...

It's a tough one really, theres no denying that the song is great but if the label are only gonna put money into a certain amount of Kellz singles then should they do it for this song which isn't really going to appeal to that many audiences. I'd like the song to get top 10 on the RnB chart an also chart pretty highly on the hot 100, but I think we'll end up top 20 on the RnB and no placing on the hot 100... That is unless the label back it.

you don't understand where I'm coming from Man, the money is being spent on those cats.

John Legend has budget spent on his stuff and getting to play Oprah and other outlets is expensive.

NeYo gets budget for his videos and gets alot of play with radio

    Usher is on everything.

R.kelly is at a stage of his career where the label brass ain't spending that loot to push those songs.

you let Alicia Keys and Beyonce do a female take on a song like that and watch it sell like hotcakes.
