R. Kelly on the Billboard Charts

This is a discussion on R. Kelly on the Billboard Charts within the R. Kelly Music Chat forums, part of the R. Kelly Discussion category; ^I'm sure Jive/Zomba/SonyBMG will be extremely keen to make that happen. Hopefully nothing gets in the way of it happening ...

Bear in mind that the vast majority of its airplay is coming from just one format so far (urban), also it has yet to be released digitally which doesn't have much impact on the R&B charts, but if you want a hit on the Hot 100 your song has to be performing well in digital sales. They will probably release it digitally the same week or the week after the album drops. The labels usually do that for a bit of publicity having a single rocket up the charts right after the album release.

    Thanks SteveHidden Content

thanks Steve. the Singles will rise even further once the album drops.in the big picture it means more toward the Album and you don't want to get caught with a few catchy songs and a Album that is just pushed with a couple of tracks. the Album will still lead the way. I ain't gonna trip on the singles success because the big picture is how the Album does.
