From more objective view(remembering things folks have said about his music)

Popular: I love 'old R.Kelly' which means he's seen a better day in the '90s and been goin thru some slides in the '00s. He's one of the best bedroom song makers of our era.

From more personal view as a fan

Unpopular: Maybe some folks don't know his inspirational songs get so much love so easily. Don't be overwhelmed too much by the image that the media in his homeland has hyped him up through. Do listen.

I hate the contradictory thing that is said about his music like about Tupac, Marvin Gaye, etc. Everybody has that complicated character of one's own, IMO. The only thing that seperates artists and others is that....artists usually express it a lot to the world, IMO.

Probs: Creativity, Versatility, balance in his music, the fact that he writes, produces nd arranges everything, that's what make shim a true artist
Nots: Exotic sexual metaphors can be funny for while, but they get in my nerves when there are too many songs with them, the same with the raindrop sounds, please no raggaeton any more, and no scott storch or other producers on his own albus, and too many rap collabos
