I ordered from Amazon it was $2 cheaper than Best buy......

Anyone else? Also too I didn't hear mention of a "super deluxe" version like we saw on love letter @ best buy - - and no I didn't want the version with the actual pair of panties

@ Play.com - My copy should have arrived yesterday but they messed up my order, so I'm still waiting.

Sure thing. Apart from 'Cookie', Rob wrote all the songs himself but didn't produce any - which is a 1st. Not too shocked cuz even though a lot of the songs had his sound there were just certain instrumentations which sounded a bit too modern. Hidden Content Its always interesting to know why he took this route and I really do have a feeling that there are at least 3 different versions of 'Black Panties' - as in completely different. What it was 2 years ago has changed into something else, I mean I think it changed by at least 50% in the past 3/4 months. Going back to the names, you will see a lot of names on this album because most of the producers are either duos or trios. Like for instance 4 names will be on 'Throw This Money On You' - 1 is obviously Rob, the other 3 will be the 3 members of T-Town Productions. Then extra names will come for the features (apart from Kelly Rowland). Quite a difference to 'Love Letter' but hey, he's allowed to switch it up I guess. Hidden Content

Yup, doesn't bother me even if it's not my cup of tea. He did Love Letter and Write Me Back within a couple of years, so he's earned the right to play around a bit.

Actually, Cookie's grown me. I really didn't like it when I first heard it, but I quite enjoy it now.

He didn't actually produce 'Physical' its just that he's got some management/co-producing deal with the Guy that did. It is the same Chef Tone though.

ummm, that will prolly be the only time I listen to that track. I HATE that Oreo song AND video! lol. Kelly is a student of music so I get this album. I just wish he stop callin it the new 12 Play but I get it. THIS is the current state of "Urban" music. But hey, I just hope the album does well.

I am so so happy with this album. I had worries about him not producing and it being too dirty and unromantic, but in that way that Rob's always done, he's way ahead of the game.

I waited and waited and finally listened to it once I bought it.

It's a superb album, it really is.

There's such a fresh sound and vibe about it, not just for him but also music. I'm truly amazed at how well he's made this work. I think it's a classic and one that may redefine him, again.

So pleased with R. Kelly's 'Black Panties'.

(And that is a brillaint video to 'Cookie' - how does he manage to be so relevant and compelling after all these years?)
