    Default No Cuts&No Pastes

Y'all have felt like 'He seemed to record this song straight with no sequence?' If so, what songs do you feel that was done like that way? You know some songs that makes you think it was recorded by just standing in front of mike and finishing with one shot or at least minimum shots. The thing that they say only great, confident singers can handle.

I mean, there must be some of his songs that have no cuts and no pastes or minimum of that process? IMO, this is highly possible cuz he's got nobody to tell him to sing this way and that way while in the booth.

i think he has to do most of his 'dramatic' peices with the least amount of takes. if you chop these songs up, you lose the dramatic and climactic phrasing.

Yeah, I was pretty much thinkin the same thing. You might wanna just let the overflowing, strong emotion out while recording those kind of songs. And even if some crack or lil-bit-out-of-tone voice comes out in the middle of recording, you sometimes let 'em be there. It sounds more natural sometimes. But, for some singers who has somebody behind the board to 'make wonders' in the studio, that's like a pie in the sky, I guess.

    U Saved Me
    Peace
    Trade In My Life
    Heart of A Woman

    Just a name a few...

Not just for the reason above, I think it usually don't take many shots for him to get recording singin part done.
