Is Kelly's recent album mostly hip hop or does it have some great R&B jams too?? Don't get me wrong, I love a dose of hip hop Kellz but his R&B grooves make me go crazy.
you should go ahead and purchase this album, it does contain a good amount of hip hop songs on their saturated with some rich, candy sweet, slow jams like ,sweet tooth sex planet and making a baby. believe me its more than you bargained for. so go ahead and pick it up as a matter a fact dont just get one but 2, one for the car and 1 for the bedroom.

    R. Kelly is not falling, he's just doing different things, as he has every damn right to with his prolific career. Sorry that you think he's falling. I disagree 100% with that statement. No it's not the same R&B/Soul as before but I appreciate his versatility to do other things as an artist. Double Up is an example of that.

I won't lie, I didn't care much for it at first because I like the "freaky" Kells, but after listening to it over and over I now love it! This CD isn't as much for the ladies as it is for the guys. And it doesn't come close to "Chocolate Factory", but it shows different sides of him and will keep you listening.

I'm late to post, but for what it's worth, yes you have to have this CD. It is off the chain. He has slow songs like "The Zoo" describing a zoo atmosphere and he's there with is lady making it crack. Then there's "Sweet Tooth", where he talks about having a sweet tooth for his girl. This CD is a favorite. "Having My Baby" talks about his girl being pregnant and all of his feelings while she's carrying the baby. Sexplanet is my favorite because he actually uses the different Planets to describe a night with him. Listening to this sone will have you on another planet flying away with him. i like when he says "Zoom, and have a safe trip babe!" This man is incredible and his writing skills are too much to describe. You'll love it.
