    Default love letter vs tp2.com

will love letter have the same impact as tp2.com to you?

    songs?

    production?

    arrangements?

    vocals?

    instrumentation?

    versatility?

i ask because thinking of the xxl interview to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of tp2 and how fresh it still sounds, and of course the strong feed back that love letter is getting and it is a power house of a album, do you see love letter getting that same kind of respect years later?

is he a better artist 10 years later to you than he was on tp2.com?

i ask because he was making a statement then and he is now as well.
    speak on it

I think he is a better artist now voice-wise and his mastery of his production but it's still too early to tell for me

I think he is a better artist, but I won't compare these two albums because they contain entirely different sounds and are both classics IMO.

its too early to talk about this, but again i dont think you can compare these two albums cause they are so different, you could talk about love letter vs. chocolate factory,.. they have more similatities when it comes to the sound of it..
for me tp2 still is the best..

He has definately upped his mature side...he took another swing wit love letter not concerntrating on the sexual but most the love aspect of being in a relationship...radio message, when a woman loves, how do i tell her..these tracks speak about loving nd breakup...tp2 had the rnb thug concept while love letter expanded his artistry, vocal skill, production mastery, arrangement, nd diversity...the MJ throwbacks...not feelin the love... Also speak volumes of his chameleon ability...

I am enjoying this album but I do feel the two cannot be compared. Because tp-2 was a time and place that was current when he put those records together. You have cuts like "feelin on yo booty" and "like a real freak" which were just right to the point type of cuts. Love Letter is a more sensual type of album.

tp2 = meet the girl at the club and shack up in the hotel album till the wee hours knocking over bottles of henny and moet

love letter = you and your significant other are on a weekend getaway in the mountains making love, tulip petal lined tub with a note expressing your undying devotion.

I think he is a better artist now than he was on tp2.com. Yes.

As for comparing the two albums in terms of the impact each one has, I think it's too early to tell. We have to give 'Love Letter' some time before we can compare it to any other album of his career.

tp-2.com is one of the best album's of all time; it's hard to say but this is a more soulful album of course; but i think it is comparing oranges with apples as they are different genres type of music reflecting different points and stages in r.'s life which only attest to his lyrical genius and mastery

Too Early... Kells was on some straight R&B Thug Player type shit. He had too much swag then. Now he on his grown man shit. Can't compare the two. And I can't pick one over the other just yet.
