TP.3 was good, TITC fucked that album up, that's all. And i personally don't give a fuck about the title, i just want good music. I like all Kells music, but Hairbraider is the only song so far that doesn't get me really hyped. They should've released it on a mixtape just like Kiss your Candy. Come on Kells you can do way better that this

kiss ur candy and industry were better than hairbraider..this is my opinion..kells should be blessing us with more love ballads and classics like turn back the hands of time...i feel there's gonna be much room for love songs in this one...since he has been limiting himself on that area on double up...anybody know a release date +/- for TP4

After TP.3 I don't expect much from a possible 4th part. In fact, actually there has been a 4th part, it just didn't have the TP in its title. I mean, Double Up was like a TP.3 clone, which makes it TP-4. I don't want anymore of that series. There should have never been a 3rd part anyway.

Double Up had like three slow songs (The Zoo, Sweet Tooth, and Sex Planet). TP3 had much more. If "TP" is in the title, it's guaranteed Kells is gonna be holla'in at some slow shit.

hard to say because until i hear a money cut I can't say one way or the other with this album. as for Tp2 and 12 play different time periods. 12 play had the more classic songs on a whole, but T2 flowed better overall and complimented Kellz more.

I don't need 12 play turning into the Godfather because you got 2 classics and the 3rd was just slightly better than average IMO. this could be dicy. we shall hear it all real soon, but I reserve judgement until I hear a real money cut.

Thanks everybody for your comments and opinion! If you look at R.Kelly's history, Born In The 90's, 12-Play, R.Kelly, R., TP2, Chocolate Factory, Love Land and Happy People/U Saved Me you'll see he did it his way. Not everybody else way, I mean not trying to keep up with the times. Like I always say, to me; it seems like he is trying to prove he is still hood. I think everybody loved when he did Bump and Grind, Your Body Callin, Aaliyah, Changing Faces, Trin-i-tee 5:7, The Isley Brothers, and Kelly Price's album. Ever since I'm In Love With I Stripper, he's been stuck in that mode where he's rap singing. Maybe he'll surprise us with something different but still I have a bad vibe about this. Leave the club Kellz! We want to hear those songs you made with your mom, the I'm sorry songs, I love you baby songs, and help me father songs (inspirational songs). Show them who's king of r&b!

We've only heard this 1 song Hairbraider off the album, which can make it's too early to think about the whole album, but ain't it exciting to have speculations with other R.Kelly fans?Hidden Content It's like, we're having a real early pre-release party of our own?...Just a thought.

BUT AS LONG as its a good album.

    12-play 5/5
    TP-2 4/5
TP.3 3/5 (good album but too much Trapped and one too many rap songs)
    TP4 ?????????

    Anyone else see a trend?
I agree...The title kinda limits the content but it ain't have strong control overthe content. I mean, under the name "TP" each of the album still has inspirational tunes and party tunes besides slow jams in one package, making it well-rounded even with the concept that the title represents. So, I'm just hoping for great quality as a whole package.

Same here. Unless he had released a third part better than the second one (or at least with the same level of quality), he should've stopped releasing twelve plays after TP-2. Not that he isn't creative enough to come up with another concept... the world needs to hear a fresh R. Kelly who at the same time goes back to his roots but that doesn't mean he has to release a dozen of twelve plays.

lol...i echo everybody's feelin's on Kells needin to go do something fresh he aint done before. Like we say w/ movies, sequels get progressively worse.

BUT, I couldnt help but think that was some cool shit..12 Play...12 albums?! Sign me up, I wanna see that shit. Plus Kells would still drop different projects in between. Off the chain, the finale would drop when he's in his late 50's. The man's got longevity like that, why not?

I'm cool with the 12-play concept because it is Rob's signature and I don't think that there is anything wrong with it. I agree that dropping different projects in between would be cool. I guess if he does another TP project it can be TP OT (overtime) and then he'll build off the OT series - lol! All I want is quality music! To heck with the title and theme, I just want Q-U-A-L-I-T-Y. I also just want him to stop talking about rolling up in the club on dubs, poppin' bottles with models. I have to admit that I am so tired of hearing about these things in his music lately. I love to hear his mature side and I know he's selling records because this is his livelyhood but I just want the grown and sexy Rob majority of the time. He's such a beautiful songwriter and I just want him to show that side more. I'll support whatever he does because I will always be a fan but I just want to hear some grown and sexy cuts.
