Default Feelin on your booty a tribute to Al jarreau?

on the dvd Kellz said that Al Jarreau was a inspiration for "Feelin on your Booty" and thinking just on the BOO-Tay Part I could see and hear Al Jarreau doing that what about you? when Kellz emulates his voice as a Instrument that does make me think of Al Jarreau or a Bobby Mcferren. what do you think?

Vocally, I can see the similarities. Musically, not so much. The song's a lot of fun either way.

I never really thought about it until now, but the enunciation is very similar.

Not sure how to tell you who Al Jarreau is, but he's a jazzy old school soul singer. Great voice.

Bobby McFerrin is the "Don't Worry, Be Happy" guy (yeah.... I never liked him either).

when you hear Kellz doing his voice as a keyboard on "It's your birthday and Just because with Nona Gaye when he vocally solo's off that is very Al Jarreauesque phrasing and riffing as a instrument. a special gift indeed.

don't miss that guitar sound he makes in the beginning of "loveland"song. . .
"so sexy pt.2" when he sings <<and we'll be goin' ++++>> before the refrain..
