Default Double Up and I Tunes got me thinking

with Double Up out and a few tracks over on I-tunes, which Rk Album from the past would you like this same situation where Bonus tracks where able to get? also do you think this is a good practice of putting extra tracks over there or do oyu want them all at once on a bonus disc? also would you like to see RK do more things with I-tunes in the Future or do you think it's a limited situation for fans of RK who don't have computer access? don't laugh there are still some folks who don't fuck with Computers.

but, he also did a lot of stuff through text messages and phone calls, which is "old school" (lol) technology, if you will.

I'd prefer it if he'd put those bonus tracks on a seperate CD because I'm not a big fan of digital downloads and so on. I want a disc that I can hold in my hand and with a cover to look at. But of course, releasing some track on I-Tunes is a smart business move.

I have never really understood what bonus tracks are all about anyway. If there is still enough space on the CD, then why not just add one or two more songs without saying it's a "bonus". And if there's not enough space on one disc, like the CF album, and there's an entire bonus CD anyway, then why not make it a double album?

As for the i-Tunes thing ... I don't know. I prefer one album that has one consistant vibe or flow from track 1 through the last song. If I download one separate track, it has nothing to do with the album anymore, imo. I hope you understand what I mean. An album is an album, and an i-Tunes song is not part of an album ... whatever. I think that all the bonus tracks should be availeble for everybody all over the world, cause the Dutch iTunes only has "Ya hair" as a bonus track and i don't understand why they didn't put the others as well.

My exact sentiment. And R.Kelly, I get your point as well. Call me old-fashioned or whatever. I'd love to get my favorite artist's album in my hands so that I can put it out and blast through the air. And like the threadstarter said, what about some folks without computers and such and such?

I'd like to get my hands on "Ya Hair" so yeah I agree with those that have said all the songs should be available to everyone. I mean they're losing out on money on those who would buy songs that are only available in the iTunes UK. It's a bit frustrating.
