I feel hurt and disappointed about this album! I always look forward to seeing that R.kelly Written and Produced his own album. I feel cheated! I didn't mind him working with TrackMasters because they worked well together but I guess he is going through a phase. It will be good but it won't be our R.Kelly we know we got! It sounds like BOBW3 to me. Kellz can stand alone; he doesn't need some sidekick! Peace!

This will be an interesting test. I see this as a huge turning point in his career. We've seen other great artists have these collaborations projects and fall flat on their face. I can't wait to see if the public will accept this. If it's successful brece yourself for more of them.
One thing is for sure, if he's yapping about being in the club for 12 straight tracks, he can't forget my $10.00. Hidden Content I'll wait until R. Kelly comes back, that guy that used to sing. The only way I can see him pulling this off is if he discusses different topics. Politics, sex, relationships, street life, etc... In other words, a Kanye vibe to it.

personally I think Jive has him by the Balls. he is given them what they want in exchange for the Trapped in the Closet series. and while R.Kelly is still a Young Man. you don't wanna be that Cat near Middle Age in the club still trying to be Cool&happening. while He can still do it,it doesn't mean you should. also in truth

the "Happy People/U Saved me" Project was said by some folks as making Him seem Older&I truly feel on some levels he wants to appeal to a younger audience as well. He knows that He has the Musical Chops to pull off doing Hip-Hop&He has made some of the most Legendary R&B/Hip-Hop colabs Ever, I mean He is that cat from R&b on the Hook, but this looks sad. I'll buy the Album on day as always, but on the real I Ain't expecting much. i hope the 30 percent of R&B kicks Ass.

Yikes to seeing Pharell,Kayne,Rick Ross, and some of the other names on board.

Well when you think about it, the songs produced by other people weren't that bad in the past. IMO, Woozy was a great, sexy, smooth slow jam with a nice hip-hop twist. And the Promise Remix was good too. So lets just wait and see about this...

Thanks Fan. I devoured this article and found out all the rumors are true. Sean Garrett and The Runners. Akon, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg and Pharrell...these people have appeared here and there so many times on others' lps. I was like, whenever I saw their names in the news about some artists' future releases, "Yeah, yeah, I know. There they are again...' and passed quickly. It's not that they ain't talented, but it's a whole another feeling to see the names on Kellz' album.
Kelly's camp says he is still recording and just might pull in another major player from the Midwest for the project.
I hope it's Dave Hollister. Just a quick thought.

I was thinking that, too. But, even if it is, I don't think the public, not just fans, wanna see the R. keep collaborating to this level -with producers&writers, let alone with too many rappers. So, I don't see more albums like this one coming or more exactly getting pushed by the label. Maybe just 2 or 3?....

Let's say, he's got legal issues beside commercial appeal that the label wants him to demonstrated more explicitly by follwing what's hot out there....He can't afford to handle another big business such as changing labels. I'm not an expert or insider, but it seems a helluva heavy job. IMO, he seems pressured a great deal from many factors combined.

however, lets sit back and enjoy the music. we all know that r.kelly's worst collab is leagues ahead of the some of the TOP songs on the radio today.

all in all......i want to make sure that everyone on the board gives this album, song and work a fair and honest shot. Hidden Content Hidden Content
Everybody here has love for the man, which binds us tight, so it's about slight differences of viewHidden Content Everybody understands one another's point of view and still claim their own at the same time, IMO.

Adding my 2 cents, I'd love to see he proves to everybody that he can be commercially successful by bucking the trend at least, or bringin whole fresh new air in future releases.
