The 70% Hip Hop has thrown me a little to be honest, for the past year or so all we've talked about is 'Making Babies' and going off that title we all expected an album full of slow jams and ballads well that for whatever reason has been put on hold....Kells has done this in the past with the likes of the MV project. Why is he so determined to go down the BOBW route? what are his motives? Is he trying to prove a point to Jay-Z? is he trying to imprint this R&B Thug persona? does he feel he'll gain more respect from his fellow performers? why is he calling himself the King of R&B (Which I dont question at all!!) when he's releasing an album full of Hip Hop collaborations?, now he says he's got 5 albums on the shelves waiting now who hand on heart can honestly saythey are going to see the light of day anytime soon? I'll buy the album no doubt about it cus' Rob is my No.1.

    Sooo Much Rap

Why is there sooo much rap on the album?? What is it about R Kelly that rappers cling to??? When you call that number from the I'm A Flirt Video, Kellz mentions everything except why he preferred more rap over R&B, I love Kanye West and all of them, but is rap making that much money, didn't the trades publish an article stating that rap music was on the way down fast??? Is R Kelly trying to shake off his base audience and move in a different direction. I know he can come back to R&B anytime he wants to, but how long we got to wait... Hidden Content

ive got a mixed mind set about all of this(dont get me wrong, im really looking forward to the album) but i was hoping for a classic rnb album with inspirtations, steppin, slow jams etc on it. this was a little different kind of news to me. im also mixed on why hes doin this..part of me says yeah, jive is makin him do this, its a corporate thing, on the other hand kellz has been dying to do a hip hop type album, and i think this is something he really wants to do..he keeps talkin about wanting to do a another BOBW, the first to didnt pan out, ghetto thrillers will never happen , so maybe hes takin matters into his own hands...i mean face it im with AZ, im really lookin forward to this, he can rap better than most and has the diversity and vocal range to rap in ways most can. who knows we may get a couple of classics like "dont let me die"..it is definatly a different direction though!! the rnb joints better be HOT!!

    Hidden Content WTF's going on...

i dont believe that Jives pushing him into making the album. thats what people said with TP3 aswell. its like people are making excuses for him.

if the labels forcing him into doing things he doesnt want to make then why doesnt he just leave the label. most artists leave labels because their being falsed into doing things they dont want to do.

And this MV thing is probably never going to happen lets be seriousHidden Content

and by the way what has r. kelly contributed to R&B in the last 3 years...hes last big thing was HP/USM and that was good...other than that he hasnt written or produced anything thats very good except 'one night' and probably "i'm a flirt" (yeh i do like that song Hidden Content ) and some exceptions
