Thread: are you glad these new albums are dividedup?

with the excitement and good news over these 3 new releases are you happy that it is gonna be 3 seperate projects or would have liked all combined?

also based on the songs released thus far would it made you go toward one project more than the other and want it trimmed as individual projects or would have prefered it all together as one? a Past,present and Future R take.

I love the idea of 3 projects in one but I'm still hoping "heartbeat" makes it on one of his album....thats a song you just feel in your soul....you know how Kells doo it when he wants to get deep in you mind and soul.

3 seperate albums will bring in more attention than it would if they was combined, so am happy about them being released separately.

I think it makes it better for us fans too, instead of having to wait for over a year for a new album we'll have 3 in that amount of time

I didnt choose a option cause my answer to the question would be Yes. I'm glad to have not one,not two, but THREE albums coming out in quick succession!!.
I like the concept of ech album coming out separately. I love double discs also, but on occasion when I get too much music in one time, it feels a little overwhelming and some songs get slept on while i concentrate on my favorites. This way we get some time to digest and appreciate each project.

This is perfect for R.Kelly because by the end of the year no one can't but help talk about R.Kelly he'll the most talked about artist which he deserves the most I think Artist of The Year fits perfect with Kellz. In the end its all about the music.

The main benefit is older folks may cop "love letters" who are into the urban adult contemporary scene given the new hit single "when a woman loves. If you were to tie that into Zodiac with "tongues" that may leave a sour taste to some older folk. Epic out of the three would pair best IMO with Love letters.....i'm gunna think about this and write a much larger reply tomorrow

i like the idea of all three, perch is right saying each album may apeal to different markets, all of them will be great and its exciting to look forward to so many projects....on a side not, kellz needs to release fly!! it would have been perfect for epic!

Makes no difference. Every album don't have to have cohesion or some consistent theme to be great. As long as individual tracks shine as it is, the one album will be lauded for variety. It all boils down to brilliance of each track.

Of course, when you talk about commercial appeal and success, the album format does matter. But right now, I'm not thinking about that.
