Thread: What do you think of the Hairbraider Video?

The video is just boring, usually the video should add a little extra for people to like the song, but this time the song has to do it on it's own.

My sentiments exactly.....the video WILL NOT help this song....the song is what you called a stand alone (it will have not help) to make it radio and chart friendly.

Yup, I like that girl too ! I love the way she looks at the point he sings "aaaaall night....". She was the only reason I watchd the video a second time.

I just wish this video had more shots of Rob and of course shots with him without those shades. I like the part where he rubs his head and kind of snakes his body. It's small in the fact that it last about a half second or so closer to the end of the video. For some reason, I think that part is so sexy! The girl with the red quick weave is the only girl in the video who actually looks like she actually lays braids. These casting directors and industry execs have got to get with it when they cast these women in order to make the video more believable. The other chicks weren't very believable.

I saw it on MTV Jamz (all vid channel).

You can vote for it on the 106 website but Im not sure if its aired on the countdown or on the other channels (VH1, MTV, BET, etc)

I gave the video 2 RRs. I find it as boring as the song. Even for today's standards I think it's lame and way too dark. And the fact that he's wearing sunglasses in such unlit surroundings is absurd.
