The fact is that everyone is kinda treating this one like an official album.

Not to mention that R.Kelly has given us about 4-5 songs that everyone has been bitching to have: more R&B, more bedroom, more slow jams, etc etc etc.

Some of yall are like Doc Brown in Back to the Future trying to get you and R.Kelly in that DeLorean back to 1992. Good Luck w/ that.

The Industry changes on an hourly basis and R.Kelly (as he has shown for 17 years) can change with it and still come out with class, style and perfection.

yeah I'm Old School R.Kelly fan and i don't bite my tongue. I like the slow cuts and all the steppers cuts. but there are those cuts that ain't even mix tape worthy IMO and while I like some of the cuts on here and this album on a whole is pretty good, it ain't seeing 12 play or the self title album IMO and it ain't even close.

i can hear cuts that say outloud Jive kiss my black ass. the tone and feel of this album along with TP3 and Double Up being all over the place show me when he is doing certain things through the Motions.

now the old school sounding cuts woud make the older albums, but they wouldn't be single worthy per se IMO. Heaven Chose you, relief, Butterfly, those cuts are good but He ain't made that cut where I hear classic and then the remix just is the butter on the bread and that is where things differ.

i'm getting the album on day one as usual and I can't wait,but i also know once the next project post Jive comes out then it will be on.

4 Rs. Actually, somewhere between 3 Rs and 4 Rs. Whole Lotta Kisses and Wanna Make A Baby did a lot more to reach the points than the rest. I enjoy Go Low, Might Be Mine, At the Same Time and Freaky Sensation, but those tracks don't woo me like Chocolate Factory or Loveland album did.

That's what I'm surprised about there are no guest features songs that people on this board been talkin bout they wanted now that he has given them out for free they still ain't satified. I don't care no more to tell you the truth. Let Kells do what he do I'm starting to get to the point where I really don't care for other peoples opinion right now.

Finally I will give my full rating to it.
To be honest, I didn't like the album in the beginning. I downloaded it late at night and I was very tired but I couldn't go to sleep without listening to the new songs.
I liked "Wanna make a baby" but the next couple of songs where a disappointing to me. The next four songs are based on beats which more or less overshadow the vocals and sometimes we also have the vocoder ruining them. And I got even more tired since the first five tracks where all about sex. I mean, you gotta keep it real, enough is enough. I kinda liked "Whole lotta kisses" but it reminded me too much of "Make you my baby" and did I already mentioned what it's about ? The "open up you legs" part got on my nerves somehow. The next two songs (Might be mine & Son of a bitch) where better from the instrumental side but I didn't like the lyrics at all. Then I came across "Gow low" which I really liked and "Freaky sensation" surprised me with the old school rap part. But I felt so tired by hearing him singing about sex again and again. I mean, we haven't heard a real song for three albums now, if you leave "Heaven chose you" out. Then, after Two seater and Playas get lonely Reflief came on. I was really glad to hear another stepping song but it didn't take me away because it seamed kinda flat.
This was my first impression.
After I gave the album a few more spins the song grew on me (especially Screamer and Son of a bitch).
I still dislike the fact that he used lots of Hairbraider style beats, the vocoder usage and that the lyrics are lil bit too detailed, if you know what I mean. Because of the fact that this is a straight 12Play album it's just logically that it's about sex most of the times. So I won't count that as a disadvantage for the album.
I like the fact that most of the songs fit to each other with a view exceptions and you can see a concept behind it. I also like it that there are less hiphop tracks and no features. It's pure Kelly.

However, I like the album but it has no really outstanding tracks that will make it into my personal top 15 or 20 R. Kelly songs. Maybe they will grow even more on me but for now, I won't call it a classic. However, I'm gonna give it a solid three R's.

All through my high school career, college career and professional career I have had the distinction of being called a "great writer". I was almost convinced by a college professor to major or minor in it. But I enjoy eating and having a house lol...

Because of this I know, as Im sure most of you know, how crappy-difficult-stressful and BAD FIRST DRAFTS can be.

If this is R.Kelly's leaked FIRST DRAFT, I as a fan, and someone who understands the arts and writing, cannot ask for anything more.

Who can come out with a first draft like this in the R&B scene?

I wish I could put out multi-million dollar stuff on first draft. lol

i gave it 4rs..it's not on tp2 level but not that far off from it...i'm sure when the retail verison is released it will reach the 5r level...but this album is pretty dope, i mean just listen to son of a bitch...my boy kellz is crazy for this one but that's what i love about him......
