Thread: Rate 12P4Q

We've got threads for each song, a thread for favorite song, but not a thread that rates the actual album (whether or not it's an official LP).

this is a 5R album, period. it's got only one real fault (Two Seater), but the whole thing is full of outrageously high-quality slow jams that it compares itself to the original 12 Play and even to TP-2.com, which in my opinion was always the best one.

Does anybody else realize how lucky we are to be Kells fans? I don't think any other musician would leak about one song per week, not to mention a whole album.

So what's your rating?

Is this even a question??? 5 R's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's not much to complain about. Yeah it's very sexual, but that's R.Kelly for ya. The bottom line is, this is quality R&B. When was the last time we heard a pure, quality R&B album from Kellz?? Happy People. And quite frankly that's a little too long. I don't know what this "album" means but I love it and I'm so glad to have it.

4R's but damn its close to FIVE for me.

There is ONE MAIN reason why I cant give this 5Rs:

***This isnt a real album. Its song leaks mashed up into an "album" format. So its missing the consistency, continuity and planning that goes into making each track fit into the whole piece.

I think R.Kelly will come back with a "modified" 12-play 4Q much like he did when he put some of the Loveland songs into CF which we have all pretty much agreed on he will do in my previous thread.

Because this is a leaked album with no real cohesiveness as AN ALBUM i have to give it a 4. But with the right timing and rework I think he will make this a classic 5Rs come late this year/early next.

^^I should have clarified this: I'm asking everybody to rate the album AS IT CURRENTLY IS. Kells will probably reconfigure this one but we'll get to that when that happens, you know what I'm sayin? so as it is now, rate it.

I give it 5 R's because even though this is only leaked tracks I am more satisfied with the music than I was with both TP3 and DU. The leaked tracks are more on the speed that I want to hear from Kells and I am very satisfied right now.

Yes, I feel very lucky and blessed by his talent. It is great being a Kells fan.....drama and all...he is the best thing out there to me.

I HAVE TO WAIT BEFORE EXPRESS A RATE FOR THIS ALBUM, 'CAUSE THE CONCEPT FOR THE ALBUM IS REALLY GOOD, BUT THE SONGS NEEDS TIME IN LISTENIN' IT. NOW IT'S 3 Rs FOR ME.....BUT "THERE'S A VERY GOOD CHANCE THAT IT MIGHT BE" 5RRRRs!!!! HA HA

I feel you. I don't like Two-Seater, either, . He needs to substitute those 2 with Butterfly and Heaven Chose You. Oh Hell. PUT ALL THE DAMN NEW SONGS ON THE ALBUM, KELLZ! LOLOLOL
