I agree, Rob isn't just R&B, he's Music. True.

But man... this song isn't music really... it's trash! I love Rob's versatility and I love the fact he can do any genre. I just have one condition: QUALITY. As long as it is quality material he can do anything he wants. But to have his voice and his name in this type of songs is not cool IMO. It does nothing to his legacy and reputation.

True! but at the same time, & I know he's grown & all that, Kelly is from the hood. that will always be in him no matter what. IMO, I think he does songs like this to keep in touch with THAT side. Kelly embodies the city. just imagine if for 20 yrs all he did was R&B, nothin more. would he really still be relevant "singin the same old song"? true some of us would rather Kelly not devulge into that genre but we appreciate his diversification.

I don't have any problem with Rob doing Hip Hop, Rap or whatever. I just want him to do QUALITY Hip Hop. I don't think being from the hood or keeping in touch with his "street" side has anything to do with doing wack material. You can have fun, embody the streets or stay relevant to the younger generations doing quality music. Hip Hop or Rap don't have to be synonymous with bad music.

Can you seriously imagine these "Boys just wanna have fun" anthems to be meticulously crafted?
Doesn't really matter if he visualizes these luxurious, celebs-only, exclusive strip clubs or these cheap, funky-ass ones for everybody.
