Thread: Makin Babies vs. Double Up

I've listened to The Zoo, Sex Planet, Havin A Baby, and Sweet Tooth and these songs are better than those hip hop collabos except: The Champ, Rockstar. I want know which album you thought should've came out:

1. Makin Babies

2. Double Up

I think Double Up should have came out. I think it was good for him to get all these hip-hop collabos out of his system. And without DU we would have never gotten some great song likes Rock Star, Double Up, and certainly Real Talk.

Making babies no doubt for me. Not only we could have heard some klassic Kells songs, the concept was very creative. And I prefer an artist to be creativ over being mainstream.

Double Up.

I like it.

It works.

Its got some GREAT songs. Even IF they arent "baby making r-and-b material".

I voted for Making Babies even though Double Up is a banging cd. But the only thing I don't like about the Making Babies is its only nine tracks, I know thats the concept cause of the Pregnancy cycle but I think that Having a baby track was either a part of the Making Babies project or it was a track to get us ready for the Making Babies album which maybe means Having A Baby will be the last single for Double Up.

The this club thing is hot right now... Kellz has plenty of time to make an r&b record, because older people buy r&b and younger people buy r&b.

But a club record is for a young audience Kellz only has sooo much time to reach that audience before everyone starts to say... Ain't he too old to be at the club???

I voted for Double Up. It's a pretty enjoyable album, and plus I've never heard Making Babies, so I can't really speak for whether I'd enjoy it as much or not. I believe I would, but who knows?

Well, double up was the better business move for him, but I would've enjoyed Makin babies more..

I feel that Double up is just right for this time of the year, kells had some great collabo's they were hot on the charts so i understand why Kells decided to do this album. And i love it
