Thread: if the Live Dvd had have been a Album how many copys would it have sold?

if the Live DVD had have been released as a Album how many copys do you think it would have sold?

That's a tough question. CD/Record sales are pretty easy to track thanks to soundscan but I've never been able to track DVD sales. I wonder how many Trapped DVD's have been sold.

I don't think an artist can release a Live album as a CD anymore, unless its was recorded years ago, and not filmed. But artists today have the camera and surround sound, etc, so it's got to be a live DVD, not a audio only CD.

Excellent point!! ... But I did transfer the audio files and put them in my mp3 player

I think your not alone. Some have been bumping it in their cars.

wow, how did you find trasnfer the file into an mp3 player? I didn't know you could do that with this Live DVD.

all the hardcore kells fans would'ved bought it so i think it would'ved sol a lot.

you need dvd audio ripper (program)

Has anyone tracked the DVD sales thus far? The industry does indeed track this info.

I'd like to think it would easily have gone platinum...but if it was released as a CD alone I'd be asking where the DVD is? he's done the right thing, and I also have it on my Ipod...escuse the pun folks but I've got the Best Of Both Worlds!
