i'm not blaming bet at all, they are a paid outlet by these record companys.

if jive records says push r.kelly product than they will, if they don't they won't.

yeah he got blackballed and he has enemies and critics who musically castarate him, while

other things happen within the business.

the biz is so fake check this out

the grammys make up there own rules

when a woman loves if you ae being technical wouldn't have been for nomination this year based on there so called cut off date?/

then he performs at clive davis's bash, which by the way he throws down and he has practically written or worked with a quarter of the folks at the event and yet he ain't even asked to perform on the show?

i dig the way love letter is playing itself out by selling with the songs doing the talking and nothing else.

he never needed a 106 and park or bet to begin with. yeah he did video soul back in the day, however remember he was a decade in the game before there was a 106 and park.

if 106 and park was all that then bow wow would still count as would omarion.

real music does it thing regardless of the trends,etc..

as long as R.Kelly does what he does best then everything else will fall into place.

its up to us the fans to support the music, in truth while i want to see love letter dominate and do big, i don't care if those shows and whatnot show his videos or not, because this past 9 months has done showed the world how versatile and bad robert s.kelly truly is musically.

sign of victory to love letter and holding it down on stage, what does he have to prove exactly?
I agree with everything you're saying especially about how 106 and Park doesn't carry as much weight as they like to portray...I guess I'm just wondering what made certain DJ's change their minds on playing kellz music again...Ex: Tom Joyner...The day after the BET interview, Tom ripped kellz a new one...he talked about him something awful and voweled to never play his music again!!! Fast forward to late last year: Tom seems to have had a change of heart because all he plays is when a woman loves...lmao I guess the question I'm asking is why have ppl suddenly have a change of heart???

soon the age issue will catch up with Kells.

funny though, even though Eminem is my #1 favorite rapper of all time, he's 38 right now.

    and Jay-Z is 41.

and the GREATEST PRODUCER OF ALL TIME (IMHO), Dr. Dre, is 46.

but they don't get the ageism thing for some reason.

I feel the only reason Kells will get it soon is cuz of peoples' misconceptions of his personal life, which we all know the truth about, but other people don't.

^Soon? Rob's been getting that for a hot minute now. The big difference with Rob, Marshall, Shawn, and Andre is that Rob is getting better with age and is still hungry, and focussed. He can still outdo any of the Young Cats, and send them home packing, he still looks real fresh, and he is still in love with music.

Folk do think he's too old to do x, y, and z but as always its the ignorant/moronic people out there. The music industry see him as a Vett, and he's had to adapt accordingly (which we have seen with his approach to promotion/videos over the last 2 albums). Things looked a little blurry for Rob in terms of him recognising his identity and where he stood beteen 2007-09, but I think this year he realised where he needs to be, because he is...

    a 'Veteran'.

"I do it all night, and my tongue game's tight, plus Im nearly 22 - twice!"

sorry VIP, but with the exception of Hov, Em and Dre are at the top of their games. i don't wanna get into an argument about those two, everyone knows my opinion already.

but Kells is still on top of his game.

it's true what u said that he's considered a vet now.

also, brief shout-out to s-n double-o p for consistently reppin and featuring Rob on his albums.

^^Lol!! U don't think Jay is at the top of his game??? And with the ageism issue, that's just ridiculous...Sade, who is in her early 50's released an album like 2 yrs ago and it went gold in the 1st wk!!!! Luther Vandross was still selling records before his death and he was in his early-mid 50's, by then he had been out since the 80's...I think if the person is still able to fulfill the apetite of the consumer then it shouldn't be a problem...ppl that bring up age are just reaching...

    ^^Blueprint 1 vs bp3

    I rest my case.

He's still great, but not AS great. I'm still a fan of hov and have all his albums so you can't accuse me of hating.

well When a Woman Loves fits perfectly in the demographic audeince that listens to Tom Joyner.

that is a song that fits his radio listeners real strongly.

also the record companys put it to dude to play it. ain't like he got any power to avoid playing R.Kelly or any other artist.

the music is good and it hits for grown folks and if the songs are there, folks can hate you, however the songs can't be denied.

you know in sports when they say when you are winning suddenly you forgot what you were arguing about unless you were Shaq and Kobe, but 9 times out of 10 winning just as great to good material makes you forget alot of things.
