Thread: did the "Life" Soundtrack bother you because Kellz only song on one track??

now the "Life" Soundtrack showcased Kellz back then as a Versatile Songwriter and Producer,but at the same time He is only featured on one track fully. did that ever bother you or did you like the fact of him being the tunesmith that he is that his writing was showcased elsewhere??

the soundtrack was fine he wanted to focus more on showcasing his writing skills

It bother me a little cause I thought the title track was going to be more inspirational when first I heard R.Kelly had written and produced the song. But after a while the song grew on me!

I thought the soundtrack served its purpose well----to promote the feeling behind the movie while showing Rob as a top songwriter and producer.

i loved it for what it is, it showcased his great writing and producing skills, w would love another project like it!!

It didn't bother me either. Like most people said it was a showcase for his writing and production skills not to mention that at the time he was trying to do Rockland real big. That said I would have loved to hear Kells sing "Life" and/or "Fortunate" which K-Ci & JoJo and Maxwell did respectively. "Life" especially would have been brilliant to hear R. Kelly singing. The one cut Kells did sing on with DJ Quik is one his best rap collabos IMO

Not at all. The soundtrack was perfect as it was.

No problem for me, he was showcasing is skills in other fields & he did good, real good!
