Thread: What is he saying at 4:57 in "I Wish"?

Approximately between 4:57-4:59, he does a very low key overdub where he says something which I find impossible to explicate despite multiple listenings. What do you think it its?

It really sounds like an emotional statement too, not just your usual ad lib.

"theresa do me a favour" ...-> come and brake my hair ...

Um LOL! He says "Theresa, do me a favor... come on and braid my hair"

yeah he does say "Theresa Do Me A Favor" which is his sisters name and they had a fall out for a while and when he was younger she use to braid his hair.... i guess he was trying to get back in good terms with her especially since the song is stronger for his mother and he knows she would not have like that fall out... A lot of ppl never understand the importance to kells when he says "Come on and braid my hair" at the end of the song but that was from the heart

I did know that the hairbraiding was a reference to his sister Theresa, but I didn't know she was mentioned in the lyric. Thanks for clearing it up!

If I am not mistaken and feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but that is his sister Theresa braiding his hair in the video.
