"Stop" Kellz verse - Tony's on the drop, blue and yellow rocks He keep yellin', stop, Sisqo's album flopped

Why does Robert hate Sisqo?? I know Sisqo made some negative comments after Robert got into trouble, but Kellz didn't like Sisqo even before those comments. What's the beef between them?? Did Kellz get him blacklisted??

i don't know why there is a small beef between them, but maybe i think sisqo said Kells is not the R&B of King etc...
anyway, sisqo is nothing.

Maybe it's because Sisqo tries too hard and he wants to be just like Kellz and Kellz realizes it, but Sisqo is too cocky to come out and say he admires Kellz so he takes shots at him, then Kellz takes shots back.

well...almost a decade later and 10 million albums later i think sisqo is 24 feet under ground.

I'm pretty sure we have been over this before but for the record here is the breakdown of events:

2001 - prior to the release of his sophomore album, Sisqo said in an interview that he believed he was the best R&B singer in his age group, that he could "shut down any singer in his age group". He did not mention names or call anyone out specifically.

2001 - Usher responded to Sisqo in interviews disputing his claims

2002 - R. Kelly disses Sisqo on BOBW on 'Shorty' and the bootlegged but not officially released 'Hold Up' (which would be remixed on Unfinished Business in 2004 as 'Stop')

2002 - After R. Kelly's scandal breaks out, Sisqo and his affiliated rap group The Associates released a track in which a member of The Associates (not Sisqo) called out R. Kelly in relation to the scandal

2004 - Unfinished Business is released and features 'Stop' which in actual fact was a remixed version of the heavily bootlegged but not officially released 'Hold Up' from the orginal BOBW album. People interpreted Kells dig at Sisqo on this track as being something new when in actual fact it was an old track

2005 - A Sisqo track called 'One Finga' leaks in which he responds to Usher and R. Kelly's disses at him

2007 - The Sisqo track 'One Finga' seems to re-leak (if that is possible) leading people to believe that it is a new diss when much like Kells on 'Stop' it is actually an old track


The whole situation was kinda stupid IMO. Sisqo's initial comments killed his career which now makes him an easy target. Personally I think his comments were stupid but not the earth shattering comments that they have been made out to be. Given the fact that Kells is something like 11 or 12 years older than Sisqo it makes you wonder if R. Kelly was even included in the 'age-group' that Sisqo was talking about

Sisqo...come on. WHat the hell is he doing now. I don't think anybody knows or cares.

At the Lady Of Soul Awards after Kells performed 'I wish' I remember Sisqo saying 'Lets give another big round of applause for R. Kelly, hes one of a few artists who's still got hits after all this time'....maybe I'm reading in too deep but to me he said it in a real patronising way!...I cant stand Sisqo Kells Beef or not, he is a bum!

I don't think Sisqo was being sarcastic on this one. He's just cocky and feels he is the best but we already know his career was shut down. I liked dru hill though and I think he has a nice voice. Of course, he's no Rob, but he's decent.
