The one thing I like about Best Friend is it never actually comes all out and says whether Kellz's girl and Charles are creeping together, or if Charles is just looking after Kellz's family while he's locked up. In the latter case, it'd mean that the whole chorus of the song is Kellz's parnoia getting the best of him.
Now the way the song expresses it, you're left believing that it's 100% true, despite the total lack of any evidence and Kellz's girl and Charles' outright denials of it.
In all honesty, it's more plausible that it's simply Kellz's paranoia at work, and he believes his accusations are true so much that he's got us believing she's cheating on him.
From what I can tell, though, is reality may be a whole different story. Kellz is seeing his girl across the table from him, all chummy with his best friend, and his insecurities about being locked up have all come into play. I mean, the only reason he thinks she's cheating is because Charles is wearing Kellz's shirt.
C'mon! The dude lost his job; he doesn't have money for clothes, man.
But, then again, you know, a woman and a man get close and are left alone for whatever reason... shit's gonna happen.
What's your take on it, anyway?
