In all honesty, I think this is 1 of the issues many have had with Rob over the years...Can we make excuses for him and say that 'he's not thinking' or 'this is just the way he is'? However, taking into consideration other songs which he has put out recently we can probably read more into this one than usual...The fact that he has as you say repeated this sentiment quite a few times now, does kind of steer your 'train of thought' somewhat....Yes it is a just a song, and he is just trying to make a hit...but in this case it does seem like there is an element of underlying truth, and I wud say that at this time in his life a groupie/fan does have some sort of appeal for him.

Maybe he feels they are more accesible, and less of a threat than someone who doesnt know him? When it comes down to it though...Somedays I think I know what's going on his head...others, I feel kinda clueless.

We are on the same page. I mean, the bolded part, that's been on my mind. He's single now...I dunno how much impact the divorce has on him, but uh...he might be conscious of what means to be single again and these songs reflect the sentiment. The usual "I'm a ladies' man" persona mixed with the way he really feels these days....

Whatever the reasons for the lyrics, the production is top notch. Los Da Mystro is probably my favorite producer in the game right now. You can always tell when you're listening to his work. That orchestral sound he uses, anyone know what that is exactly? Same thing on much of his newer stuff, like this joint, "I Invented Sex" by Trey Songz and others.

Before I read this thread, I thought, that this song about real girlfriend, not groopies or fan. Not literally

apropos this discussion, I wonder, is there at least one singer, who don't like fans or groopies? LOL
